Talladega Anyone???

Is anyone out there going to Talladega for the October 2, 2005 race? I met up with several forums members at Bristol and it was fun.

Nothing quite like the big oval in October. It brings out the best cross section of NASCAR fans, sights, sounds, smells, food and music! Wish we could be there again but we're headed to Eureka Springs, Ark. instead. Certainly there will be some 'Streamers on hand so have fun, arrive early and depart late.

A few good photos here.

If anyone would like something checked out, we live 2 miles from track.

Fill water tanks at least.

It really is fun. Did it 6 times when we lived down there. Funniest part is when you get to know somebody camping next to you and more often then not, they are doctors, lawyers and otherwise successful people letting their hair down....waaaaay down. Best laughs I've had and the competition of racing is just as fierce as any other sport. Talladega is a unique experience. Don't take the young kids unless you're very liberal.
