Looking good Gang
Just back from getting my Airstream from my hanger. Where I store it over the winter. Like always stopped for gas [ouch] I'm asked what year is that? I told him it was 66. He said Wow and I smiled.

The theme of the rally seems to be "water hose". I think at least half off the attendees have gone to buy more hose. If you're not here yet and you have the means, grab extra water line.

Thanks for the heads up about the extra water line - we're leaving in the early morning and hope to be there by mid-afternoon! Can't wait!

We, three, are on the way after some lighting issues. 1:30 and not out of Illinois yet. We should pull in around 9 or 10 tonight.
How much water line should we have?

Depends on what spot you get, but 30' (2 standard hoses) should do the trick.

We made it. We did forget about the time zone difference though.
Thanks Winestream for meeting us and guiding us in.

It's "the" day of the rally. We've got 17 on site. MN, VA, IL, and FL are the extremities represented. The cameras are popping all over. I'm a happy camper :-)

Looks inviting. The grass is so green and thick. No snow here. We are finally trailing along into spring. How many kids have you got out there, enough to have some playmates for your kiddos to play with? And dogs, got dogs? Thought I saw one but that was a flamingo.

Yup. Parker's got a new rally friend. We've got a few from the teen crowd, too.

We left the rally a little after noon today (other commitments, etc...we've been there since Wednesday afternoon so we got a good bit of it in.) First of all, Wooster is a very nice little town of 26,000 residents with the 2nd best library in Ohio and the fifth best in the USA. Who would have known??? And of course it is an easy drive to all the Amish area of Ohio (Holmes County). Thirty minutes down the road is Ohio's ONLY 10/10/10 rated campground by Trailer Life. Evergreen just outside Mt. Eaton - we try to viist them at least once per summer. There were trailers at the rally from all parts of Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia, Minnesota, Michigan and I hope I got most - well represented!! Good times were being had by all!!! Food was exceptional and there was plenty of it. The weather wasn't doing the best job of being cooperative - we did have some showers from time to time but the temps hovered in the mid 50s and 60s so compared with the past weeks, it wasn't bad at all.
Jason did a marvelous job of putting this thing together. We even had folks simply stop by - Airstreamers from down the road that were passing through Wooster and saw all the aluminum reflecting the bright sky. They stopped in to say Hi to all. We had a grand time sharing stories and upcoming plans with others.
Kudos, Jason and Andrea..........

Glad to hear you made it home OK.
Can't forget the co-hosts, Hank & Kathy. They not be as loud as me, but they worked just as hard and it wouldn't have been as good without them.
The fire's nice tonight. Wish you were still here.

Many thanks to Kathy, Hank, Andrea & Jason for hosting the 2011 Ohio TAC Rally in Wooster, OH. We arrived on Wed. and had a really nice time. We toured historic Wooster and spent an afternoon in the heart of the Amish country side. Wonderful people, great campfires and good food all combined to give us a exceptional experience.
