Ironic. We bought our '74 overlander in Heath, OH; right next to Newark. Stop on by. We welcome you, especially to our '74 overlander.

We are bringing some cards and board games if anyone is interested. There is some rain predicted (probably while we are tucked away for a good night's sleep)so I thought I would have some choices in activities available. We hope to have a campfire or two (Jason and Hank are bringing firepits). Thought about a movie but can't see a way to make that happen.

Open to many, but not all, ideas.

Kathy

I was thinking of a movie, too. But primarily for the kids. Since the kids now are just ours plus 2 teenagers, I kinda threw away the idea of showing a movie on a big screen. Our projector shows only about 2 ft. by 5 ft., but it's good enough for the kids. If there's a suggested movie, I can bring the projector, but I plan on spending most of my time by the fire. If the weather doesn't cooperate then I'd rather play a game than watch a movie. :-)

We just got a new board game called "The Game of Things" if the adults can behave the teenagers would be able to play along as well. Its only limited by your imagination. The last time we played with adults, it got pretty ADULT. haha But was quite humorous. Many of us ended up laughing so hard we were in tears. Let me know Kathy, if you would like me to bring it.

We also keep a deck of cards and an uno set in the trailer so we would be up for that as well.

Airbiscuit,

We've got some rather "tame" games we are bringing, so we need your game to liven things up. Yes-bring it on.

Secrest Arboretum is also doing a leisure birding walk on Saturday morning from 9am-11am. It's described as:

Members of the Greater Mohican Audubon Society guide birders of all skill levels. Spot birds, learn their calls, and discover their habitats in the arboretum. Parking and admission are free. Please dress for the weather.

The arboretum is less than 5 miles away from where we are camping.

I'm in Milford, MI right now and it's quite nice. Is it supposed to get cold? Glad to have you a day early at the rally, though.

I don't know if I should post this here or elsewhere.

We are listed as "maybes" for the rally -- we were waiting to find out how our "new" (to us) AS checked out. Luckily, all checked out well; had a new porcelain toilet installed and a few minor items fixed/replaced.

However, now we are in limbo because my DH may have to stop in at work this weekend due to a special project.

Is it ok if we just show up if we can make it?

Thanks so much.

Deb

Showing up is fine. There is enough food and fun for everyone. Hope you can make it.

Looks like we'll be having somewhat of a wet rally, but hopefully we can find a break in the rain for a fire or two. I've got the cargo trailer loaded with wood so we should be all set in that dept.

We've got 4 on the ground so far. I couldn't fit it all in one picture.
