DUST, would be blowing off the snow from where I'm at.
Sounds like great fun, wish we could come!

Linda,

I will miss seeing you at the Ohio TAC Rally. Enjoyed your company at the BB1 and Pennwood Fall Color Rally. Hope to see you down the road.

Hello everyone,

I wanted to stop in and let you all know that I decided to get my own Airforums name separate from Jason.

I'm really hoping for a change in the weather so we can put some water in the camper and make sure the new kitchen plumbing doesn't leak. Hopefully we'll get a few night above freezing before the rally.

Andrea

The airstream was moved from the barn into the "staging area." I'm slowly getting it ready for the rally. I can't believe we'll be at the rally in just 7 days!!

I keep watching the extended forecast and it's saying that it will be in the 50s and 60s during rally days. Quite a change from what I'm seeing today, I took this picture about 10 minutes ago.

Sorry to say will not be able to make it to Wooster after all. We went out to buy hubby a pair of shoes and came home with a new tow vehicle (2011 Acadia) which won't be ready for towing in time. Have a great time - will be thinking of you folks.

Andrea make sure you pack snowshoes and longjohns for the rally. LOL.
At least you only have a dusting of snow on the ground, I`ve stll got 2ft on the ground and I open in 2wks.
Nice pic of the o`lander. I see that you`re telling everyone that yours is round at both ends and high in the middle with the OHIO tag on the side. It actually is round at both ends and high in the middle with the air cond on the roof. LMAO.

WOW just wait 'till the other shoe drops! Congrats on the new wheels. Sorry we thought this would be our 2011 shakedown rally but not in the cards for us. We will miss all the fun. Please post lots of stories and pictures.

The snow is finally melting each day up here in Michigan. Got our twinky out of the barn Sunday and have been busy getting ready for TAC Ohio. Replaced the original converter yesterday with a Progressive Dynamics 9245. Today I removed the deep cycle wet cell from the back of the trailer and installed 3 life line AGMs wired together under the goucho by the wheel well. I ran 4 guage premium soft braided wire from the fuse block up to the batteries. It will be nice to have the extra power when boondocking. The PA 6245 does a wonderful job of charging and maintaining the batteries. My wife took our cat (Jessie - tailess Kimerick Manx) out to the trailer this afternoon and let her spend and hour checking it out. This ralley will be our first and a first trip in the trailer for Jessie. Can't wait.

Thanks for letting me know if you are unable to make the rally.

Jason and Andrea-really love the interior of your Airstream. Can't wait to see it in person.

Tim-make sure Jessie is microchipped. I work with our local Humane Society. We have been able to return several pets to their owners via the information on the chip.

I have the electric blankets on the beds in the Airstream. I hope I don't have to use them. (But I think I may have to)

Kathy

I am glad you mentioned the electric blankets Kathy. We normally only have light blankets
in the camper, I will have to remember to grab our heavy sleeping bags. That's something I would have forgotten.

Buddy Brad and I head for Ohio a week from today! Our first stop will be to pick up the Excella from P&S next Friday morning. It's hard to believe it has been almost 6 months since we dropped her off. Assuming she will look pretty with her new clear coat and all new awnings. We'll then drive down for the Rally on Friday afternoon. We plan to be with you all for a short 24 hours, and then we point back for Minnesota on Saturday afternoon. We hope to roll back into our home state by Sunday night. We logged 1578 mile round trip last time, but heading down to the Rally this time, it will be more like 1700 miles. Here's wishing for more 60's than 40's, and we'll see you all next week!

Earlybird Club

So who else is coming sooner than Friday? I know my family will be there Wed. night and Hank & Kathy will be there Wed. afternoon.

Anyone else pulling in Wed or Thurs?

Let's get the party started early.

No significance, just my term for anyone showing up to the rally before Friday night since the rally doesn't have any planned events until Friday night.

We'll be in on Wed night, but I'm still working on Thurs. I'm taking Fri. off as vacation. I'm not sure if Andrea and the kids are hanging around on Thurs. during the day or not. Home is only 15 min. away.

We just bought a 74 Overlander 27 ft. from a person very close to the rally. We plan to pick it up the first of next week and bring it home to Newark. We have some cleaning and fixing up to do before we can venture out. Would you object to us dropping in for the day to meet you all and ask for advice?
