At last count we have 17 confirmed units as of today who will be in attendance! We hope to see you all there!!! We have extended this rally to those who are members on RVillage too so maybe we can get some new members! Even reconnected with an old school mate who I have spoken with in over 20 years! Yikes! But her family is planning to join us for the rally too!!! How cool is that?!

Our family is going to be participating in a 5k color run/walk on Saturday morning. If anyone else would like to do it, you're welcome to join us.

I have a 5+ pound pork roast thawed to smoke this Sunday. Why this Sunday? Well, because it's the last weekend I'm going to have at home with time to smoke something before this rally! I'm smoking it this weekend, fast freeze, then re-warm for the rally potluck. No time to tend to a smoker on Saturday at the rally with a 5k in the morning and winery hopping in the afternoon and potluck + gift exchange in the evening.

The 5lb roast had now been converted via smoker into two tubs of meat and one of juice to freeze for the rally. I certify it's good :-)

We are looking forward to the rally and the new location.
We have a friend from AK joining us and bunking in. Should be lots of fun. Haven't thought about food yet. I have to get busy!!

Put us down for this rally. We'll be there Thursday and meeting up with Brother-in-law Rodger and his wife Terry who are coming home from Florida and staying for the rally in their 5th wheel trailer. So that's 2 trailers and 4 people.

OK....Now the WV NEWBIES are coming. (Airbiscuit said we could!) First event of this type for these old time campers ... but new to AS .... So clue us in as to what to expect for these event features! We will be arriving on Thursday afternoon from near Morgantown-that is if we are allowed across the border lol Actually, we visit Amish Country often as possible. How does the gift exchange work? Pot luck? Wow sounds like a good time. We have camped there ... nice folks. Our AS still in the Hangar till the snowdrift goes down a little more. Long winter and looking forward to meeting everyone.

Gift exchange: bring 1 wrapped item on Saturday for each person in your trailer who wishes to participate. It's white elephant so it can be goofy, cheap, alcoholic, whatever floats your boat! (More info in your info packet upon arrival)
Potluck: bring a dish to share! Anything goes
We will roll in early Thursday so look for us to pick up your swag bags! Upon arrival we will have the always handy folder of knowledge (this folder has driving directions, area attractions, and all sorts of other info)

Don't forget the popular raffle to offset rally fees! Bring an item for the raffle, get a free ticket or two!

I believe there is some sweet talking going on at the loudruff house to get the griddle and chef on board for this rally in order to get breakfast made to order too. Bring whatever you want cooked on the griddle! Though donuts & coffee will be provided Friday & Saturday mornings!!!

Anybody on the fence about attending should be aware that this is a great rally for all ages. We got some little kids to watch bounce around. Usually some teenagers. Some adults that act like kids, and some that are only come for the great food a mid-afterrnoon nap time.

I'm looking forward to the spot.
