It wasn't really supposed to be a rally, but some of us at the 29 Palms Rally starting talking about doing something close to home on that same weekend. So, as it turns out there are 7 of us, so far, that have reservations at the Malibu RV Park in Malibu CA. We really did not want to compete with 4CU but that was a bit far for us, and we wanted to do something. So we'll drink a toast (from the now famous Margarita Ball) to the folks at Four Corners. If there are any other locals who would like to join us there may be a few spots left. They did not guarantee us spots together, and it's not an official rally, just a few friends getting together. But it does seem to be growing. Come on out an help us support our 4CU friends. I believe their website is MalibuRV.com. Ron

Hello Ron that's more than the wally club at Pechanga are you sure its not a rally ahhh forget it lets just get together and have a pot luck dinner and some margaritas and toast the four corner group sit around a fire and watch fantastic sunsets. Looking forward to seeing you both again. Why can't we be together by the way?

well, Kip, i'll tell you why, you can't be together, but not together... you have no overly officious greeter (rustling all papers about). i've got a higher paying gig at deadhorse w/ my FCU peeps. i could send my head, which is so big that it creates it's own weather system though... that would drive you crazy...
i'm just musing out loud, but actually you have the perfect personality to get "everyone together"...

You can never have too many rallies. There are an awful lot of us on this forum driving around in our 'streams looking for people and places to camp. If you are a little too far away to drive to AZ come on down to Malibu Feb. 16-18 (or whatever works for you). Malibu RV Park's phone # is (800) 622-6052.

ron and debbie are perfect as far as decorations, over decorating, personality, the all inportant margi-ball, HOWEVER (rustling every thing about in sight, in my under beveraged hands), i sense no "Over Officiousness", which in my line of work, IS required. so do some cattle rustling, just don't take the whole herd...

There is a chance that we will all be together, but they would not guarantee it. They usually do not hold specific spots, but they said that they would try. As far as fire pits go. They are a no-no. They do not allow wood burning fires. It is Malibu afterall. Lots of dry brush. Propane is fine and we just ordered a pit like AZFlycasters. So we will have some fire, but leave your wood at home.

It is whale migrating season and we may see a few. Also make sure your four legged friends are up to date on their tick protection, we picked up a few last trip on our hikes
