We are having an event in Bakersfield, Saturday March 1 at the Kern County Fairgrounds. This is held in concert with the Sportsman and RV show at the fairgrounds. We have held this event for 17 years and this is our 18th year. It’s an event with cars, entertainment, sand drags, RV show, boats, vendors and many other activities. Our event is Saturday, one day only. The Sportsman and RV show donates the space for our charity event and allows our entrants free entry into the fairgrounds, Saturday, the day of our event. Their event is Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We have food, vendors and this year, a first, spaces for vintage trailers and rvs. The layout map shows the location of the vintage trailers. This happens to be the rv hook up area for the fairground camping area. The cost is $30 with advance registration and includes rv and tow vehicle, and up to 6 persons entry into the event. 100% of our proceeds go to charity, Society for Disabled Children; they use the funds we donate each year to send children to camp Blue Jay in Tehachapi.

Attractions at the Super Cruise:
Car show, vintage trailers, auto related vendors, part swap meet, 50 merchant plaques, live music, DJ, 50/50 drawing, door prizes, food vendors and lots of fun for everyone.

Attractions at the Sportsman and RV show during the weekend:
Agility & Flyball Dogs, Bako sand drags, Bass bin, Field dog training, Fly casting contest, Fly casting seminars, Fly tying theater, Kid’s trout pond, Kids land, Krafters korner, Rodeo, Sportsmen’s theatre, Super Cruise Car Show, Tractor pulls and Youth Archery. Vendors, RV’s and Boats on display. Some venues are not free

This is the first year that we will be providing for Vintage Trailers and RV’s. We have set up a special area for RV’s with RV hook ups. If you are coming from out of town or just want to spend Friday night at the fairgrounds we can by arrangement provide for your stay and early arrival. The Fairgrounds charges us and additional $25 with hooks ups to spend Friday night. The cost for entry would be $55 if you want to spend Friday night, otherwise $30 for Saturday only, preregistered price, Day of event registration $35.

I will be bringing my Airstream MoH, numerous Airstream trailers have signed up as well as other vintage trailers. This will be small event less than 30 trailers.
