Thanks for the correction.

I was a bit confused with the dates at first, and I attribute that to the layout of the airforums calendar. Since Thursdays "18" (far right of the day slot) is right next to "Friday" (far left of the day slot) it appears that Friday is the 18th, which is probably why the TAC site : TAC GA: Stone Mountain Park '13 - The Airstreamer's Club has it as Friday, April 18 as well. But the rally schedule has it correct!

Took 2 cups of coffee, my reading glasses and my daytimer to figure it out! So just to be sure I am right. We plan on arriving Thursday 18 April and leaving Sunday 21 April.

These brain teasers are a bugger in the am!
Thanks for the heads up on the TAC page stuff. See you are not the only one who is completely confused by what day of the week it is today. I see that the page has been corrected. If you have any additional corrections for the TAC web page you can send those to webmaster@theairstreamersclub.org

Now if someone could figure out how to have the dates on the air forums calendar to actually be near the day it would be helpful as well. I guess that is just how technology can be.

Looking forward to seeing everyone there.

If you have never been to the Stone Mountain Park Campground before, be sure to read the driving instuctions carefully. There is a low bridge to avoid. Do not follow your own GPS instructions, unless they are the same way the campground instructs. Also we have made the same mistake twice, when returning to the campground from Downtown Stone Mountain we somehow ended up on a one way road that circles the entire park. A nice scenic trip in the daytime, but not in the dark! Take your park map with you, when you go out for a ride, there are many unique things to see and you wouldn't want to miss them or get lost!

Half of the blocked off sites are now reserved. 15 more sites are still available, and just waiting for you to stake your claim. I see some familiar names from past rallies, and some newcomers on the list as well. Let's fill up the Purple Premium loop with Airstreams and Vintage trailers, so that we have the entire area to ourselves. You'll be in for a great time, so don't delay getting your sites reserved now.

That is great news Kristi! What a blast to have that loop full of Airstreams and vintage trailers. The purple loop is really nice because the sites are attractive, full hook ups, your own private deck and provided propane cooking grill. I haven't found that anywhere else. There is a playground and very decent pool, volley ball court if memory serves me and a horse shoe setup. The pavilion is right next to the loop with a huge fire pit and big screen TV. the campground staff checked on us each day of the rally last year to make sure we had everything we needed. I haven't found that kind of customer service at any other rally anywhere. Perfect first time rally for those wanting to try rallies.

Oh, look! KAYAKAMPERS is going to join us!

Since they're the Thursday (4/18) evening German Restaurant instigators then I think this is a good time to start the sign up.

We'll meet at the campground pavilion at 6:00pm to carpool.

We're eating at The Village Corner: German Restaurant & Bakery.
Here's their website: The Village Corner German Restaurant and Bakery

KAYAKAMPERS will let the restaurant know how many of us are coming to eat. If you'd like to join us then please copy & paste the list below then add your name and number attending.

Forum name ......name...... (# in party)

Somday'59- Brian & Lynnetta + kids (5)

Total # 5

My favorite food at the Germain restaurant was the rich and tasty beer, the actual food was nice as well. Enjoy!
