The October 5th weekend is Columbus Day weekend. Columbus Day is the 8th of October (second Monday in October) this year.

Oct 5th weekend count me in. I will be out with the Minuet for sure that Saturday. Even if it is just around the town for a showing.

Good idea! I went on an 800 mile trip Friday (without my Airstream) and saw only one Airstream late in the afternoon. That stinks! Oops I forgot, early in the morning I thought I saw an Airstream about half a mile away in a driveway. When I got up close I was sorely disappointed......Avion.

Well, we plan to take "Alberta" (our '69 Overlander) out for a tour in Kansas on the October 5 weekend. We'll play the game, "How many Airstreams can we find?"

Banner

Do we have a graphic artist among the group that could design a banner for the rear window? I imagine a set of standard 8 1/2 x 11's that could be taped together forming an official sign announcing our International 'Movement' (in the words of Arlo Guthrie) . We could all download the files and print them out.

We just booked our trip. After 5 years we are returning to one of our top 5 favorite campgrounds, Piney Grove near Dennis MS. It's a Corps of Engineers facility on a tip of high ground extending into Bay Springs Reservior, part of the TennTom Waterway.
It's also Mrs. HiHo's B'day so we will cruise the Natchez Trace and see how many other 'streams we see.

"Their everywhere!, their everywhere!"

Looks like mine will be sitting at Mornoe, WA at the swap meet, at least for one night. I believe I've convinced a buddy who does the swap meet with me twice a year to do the hauling. If something happens that he can't then Donna will make sure we get out camping somewhere that weekend. I'm looking forward to this.

We and our Airstream will be on our way home from a week long trek through either Oregon or Washington...wherever our heart leads us, after a weekend at the Beverly Beach Bash IV! Hoping to see lots of Airstreams on the way!!

Count on us

We'll be enjoying the great fall foliage in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom. Look for us at Brighton State Park in Island Pond. We'll have kayaks for exploring Spectacle and Island Ponds.
Hoping to run into other Airstreamers, maybe even Canadians!

We're really new at this posting business.... but here goes. We'll be on the road on October 5 from Bemidji, MN to southern MN to camp for the weekend. This is starting our winter excursion... be back in May! ^_^ So we're definitely going to be showing off our Excella on the right weekend! Great idea.... I think that an occasional Airstream is easier for other campers to approach than a caravan where they might feel like they're interrupting something????
