September get together in the "OCEAN STATE"

Hi folks,

We have scouted out places to stay in RI, and found a fantastic place to go streamin' for the weekend! So...we have just booked the weekend for September 14th-17th at Fishermen's Memorial State Park, at Point Judith, RI. It is exactly 1 mile drive from the ocean/beach. The best part is the ferry that takes you to BLOCK ISLAND which is absolutely beautiful!

The campground is like a golf course, perfectly planned out with leveled asphalt pull thru's. To us....it's the ideal setting for camping. So now, we would like to invite all our AS/Forum/ and Forum Guests to come and join US. This is NOT a WBCCI event. COME ONE, COME ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are booking in Section 1 which has full hook up and 12 sites available. Also Section 2 there are over 30 sites available.

Area 1: Electric, Water, and Sewer (No Canvas) - 40 sites available

Residents: $20.00 per night Non-Residents: $35.00 per night

Areas 2 & 4: Electric and Water - 107 sites available

Residents: $18.00 per night Non-Residents: $25.00 per night

Area 3:No Hook-ups (Canvas Only) - 35 Sites Available
Residents: $14.00 per night Non-Residents: $20.00 per night

Arrival time 1pm on 14th and check out is 11am on 17th.

Sites are filling up fast as we speak, this is a very popular and sought after camping area in RI. So act ASAP if you want to join us.

PM me, or post on the rally calendar so I know who is joining us as their computer system is antiquated.

Leon mailed out our site request this morning. We'll arrive on Friday though, just don't have enough vacation time to take Thursday off.

This means we'll finally get to put the tiny Rhode Island sticker on our States Visited map.

This is getting close to our Outage, I will have to look into it and see if we can make it.

Last week of Septemver thru the First week of November, I kinda am booked @ work...

Depending on the group size, plans will be made accordingly. Going out to dinner vs Potluck. If weather permitting and we all head out to BLOCK ISLAND, then we could eat there.

Also...things to bring;

fishing poles
bicycles (to ride to town or take to BLOCK ISLAND)
swimsuits (if weather permits)

Just a weekend of leisure!!!!!!!!

We printed out the application today and will mail it out. I hope the weather will cooperate so we can take the ferry to Block Island. We always wanted to do there.

Glad you're joining us! The weather is pretty nice in September, so I think the odds of us all going are pretty good. The ferry doesn't run if the weather is stormy or the water too choppy.

Any idea if the place is pet friendly? We'll be in the area so to speak, around that time. Sounds like it might be fun if we can work it in, and IF they allow my to big poodles along! They come first, I'm afraid! After all, they're the reason we'll be in the area! Northeast Poodle Party and Reunion, Sept 8, 9, 10, Colebrook, NH!!
