I certainly hope you're referring to your AS and not the blue boy. I wouldn't want to be downhill from you in a campground.

mini- Carvan to the Bash!
we're planning on heading off from NJ on Wednesday, but, at the rate some things go sometimes, that might become Thursday!
if anyone is else is heading out from the NY metro area, or passing through on their way from whatever parts of New England, perhaps we can carvan together?
send us an email if you're interested!
best,

No worries about my BB. I own 3 of them. I'm pulled out my new one still in the box for The Bash II. Only the best for the Bash.

Frank,
If it gets cool you can bet you'll hear the Airstream's (blast) furnace. I gotta' take the edge off in the morning so Elaine will get up and make me some coffee.

I am going to want to take a look at the bunk bed brackets also. My trailer, as I suspect all vintage Airstreams, is a work in progress. The bunk beds are my next step. I would like to take notes on all bunk bed trailers that are at the Bash. I am looking for ideas. Looking forward to the end of the week. We will not arrive until Friday. 70's RULE!

Travelling Across I-80
For those of you contemplating the east to west treck across I-80 to the BASH II I can report that the stretch between the State College / Bellfonte exit (#161) and the Clarion exit (#68) are clear. Hopefully Penn DOT will do like they have done on holiday weekends in the past, and open up both lanes in the construction areas to keep things flowing.
We're headed up to Penn Wood Wednesday night and if we find any new construction that has popped up along I-80 I will post a message to that affect.
Everybody keeep the shiny side up and we'll see you at the BASH II!

Baby Update: Well it is Monday and the lil bugger still has not shown up yet. I am starting to think he wants to wait until the bash. We have tried, mexican, Indian, Thai and some local lore pizza to speed things along but nothing. She is having contractions off and on but nothing that sticks. We have a midwife meeting at the Birthing Center today so maybe I will hit as many pot holes on the 3 hour round trip drive. Yes 1.5 hours each way so my wife can be all natural at a non insurance covered location. I tried to tell her she could be all natural at the Bash at no extra cost. At least I made her feel guilty enough that I was able to get a 65 tradewind last week to add to the herd.
I am getting jealous reading that everyone is getting ready. Save us a spot at he campfire, you never know if we will actually show up or not...like this lil bugger.

Jamaica is a very popular vacation destination. There is a slight (10%) chance of a thunderstorm every afternoon. I cannot think of an anymore ideal weather forecast for a boon dock rally.

Oh man I'm so jealous, and not just the weather!
I'll be celebrating Wally's Birthday camping with some friends out on Lake LBJ, but there'w won't be any need of jackets or sweatshirts for us. Highs will be around 100, lows will be around 78, all weekend long.
You guys are spoiled!
Hope everyone has an awesome Bash, perhaps next year I'll actually be able to make it!

CASTOR OIL. One tablespoon and the baby will come very naturally and very quickly. You will have about 6 hours from ingestion to delivery. This is a proven method to induce not just labor but actual delivery in full term babies.

Any of you previous coopers lake visitors...
Before I pack up the whole family's bikes in the AS, are the roads at coopers lake where we are camping suitable for kid bike riding?

I'm going to going to hold you to that. If Parker refuses to ride due to the road conditions, I'm going to make you carry him!

Parker is now 5. If he refuses to ride his bike, nobody will be carrying him.

Sound like a plan.
There is a host caravan leaving Bethel Park heading on 79 to Coopers Lake.
