Agreed. We're leaving after work (so not late enough to avoid traffic) Wednesday, going out 84, staying at Promised Land State Park in PA (not far off 84), then dropping down to 80 on some local two-lane (390 to 940).

At least 80 is where I got my best fuel economy ever when towing...although that runs counter to Frank's idea of getting there ASAP...

I am leaving monday night after dinner. I plan to park over night in Ace's driveway. He has some chores for me before we head up to Coopers Lake tuesday morning. It is my hope to be there by 10am tuesday. My family is coming in thursday morning bringing in coolers full of Bash Bacon.

Jason is going to pull the Airstream out of the barn today so that I can start packing. In order to plan for the all important potlucks and happy hours I was checking out the rally schedule on the calendar. Is that the most current schedule of events?

Packing

Thank God I have a 1 ton van. I have been loading it up since 7:30 this morning. I must have 2 tons in it now. As a host i'm packing everything including the kitchen sink. Now I'm heading out to hanger to get some more stuff.

Ace in PA The weather is looking great for The Bash II week!

Andrea, the most current schedule was in a resent email to all attendees. It is merely a suggestion of activities.

We are getting organized and packing for the BB. I had volunteered to provide some of the eggs for breakfast. It occured to me that there might not be enough storage room for all the dozens of eggs that will be needed. So--do you want me to purchase eggs or donate money? Let me know ASAP as I will be making a food run to Sam's Club on Monday.

Excellent, it's probably in Jason's email. I'll go look there.

I deleted that email, can you resend me the list of activities?

Kathy,

There is a Sam's Club about 20 minutes from the Bash site. We'll be making a run prior to Thursday to get supplies. It would probably work best to donate cash. We'll plan on putting out a can for contributions at breakfast.

See you soon!

Anyone want a memory foam mattress pad?

While packing for The Bash I decided to get rid of a memory foam mattress pad that has been stored in our closet. We received it from the previous owner and we have used it one time. To be honest, it's a PITA on a gaucho that you're constantly folding and unfolding.

It is 52" x 73" x 1.5" (Full size)
It has a 100% cotton removable zipper cover on it.
The original care tags from Wal-Mart are also on it.

If anyone wants it, I'll bring it to The Bash and you can have it for free. I just want it out of my Airstream!

Andrea,

If you are willing to bring it, I'd love to have it for our Son's trailer. He and our granddaughter are joining us this year.

Curious question - is there any swimming nearby? The campground website sounds like there's no swimming in their lake.
