I may have to cancel
Frank, I don't know if there is anyone who is looking to go to the BASH II, and waiting for a space to open up..........I can't believe that this is happening to me, but I may not be able to go. Sometimes the best laid plans just get screwed up! In addition to having way too much to do before my estimated leave time of Thursday morning at 9:00, I have just found out from the GMC dealership that my car still isn't ready to go, and might not be tomorrow either. They have had it for a week and a day. I checked last week to make sure they had fixed the stabilitrak (which they knew had been fixed at least once before), and they said "yes", I asked again yesterday, when I stopped to see how the air conditioning lines were coming, and they just called, to tell me the fix didn't work, and they have to order more parts. Thank God I have the extended service warranty, but, really??????
I am turning into a nervous wreck, and am thinking this trip may be meant to not happen this year. Please let me know if you have anyone who could take my spot.

Thanks Ace! Sounds wonderful. I am getting my car back in the morning, without the new part. I am still going to shoot for a Friday arrival, but who knows?

Hey everyone.....Have a fantastic time! I got my car back, just now, without the stabilizer fixed, and the horn doesn't work. I give up! Enjoy yourselves. The first Bash was incredible, and I am sure this one will be also!!!!!!!!

IF your horn dont work Its possible you have a broken CLOCK SPRING. ASK your dealer. This may affect other things also. NO SURE Im not into GM products.

Anyone interested in 1 or 2 of the lovely 70's 6-bulb overhead light fixtures with the white plastic lenses? I have 2 and can bring them to the Bash if someone wants them (free).

Rally organizers:
I have an inflatable bounce house that I can bring for the kids' entertainment. It will accommodate about 6 toddlers or maybe 3 pre-10 year olds. Would there be an electric supply near a pavilion or some thing where it could be plugged in for the kids' general enjoyment? Would this be OK with the campground (safety)?

I-80 Construction Report
We made the run from home to Penn Wood in the usual four hours. We only ran into two construction zones between the Bellefonte and New Bethlehem exits and they were as follows...
Mile Marker 134 down to one lane for one mile
Mile Marker 130 down to one lane for 0.2 miles
There was no backup at all and we breezzed right through.
Everybody be safe out there and we'll see you tomorrow

The truck is packed, the trailer is packed. I've just got to wait through tomorrow at work, come home and then haul 3 hrs and we're there. We'll be there after happy hour, but hopefully before sunset.

OOOOOOh.....happy hour and a bouncy house! That sounds like a *fun* combination! Like an adult mosh-pit without all the "angst"!
Wish we were there, but coming from South Dakota would definitely be a little more than a 3 hour haul!
Have fun all, and travel safe!

upon Ace's request I am posting....
Everyone who has arrived thus far has settled in very nicely. It is so beautiful to open the trailer and see Lin's rig glowing in the sunrise across the lake. I could not think of more ideal sight to wake up to. Thank you Wally for building it so I could appreciate it this morning. We expect many trailers to begin rolling in any minute.
If any of you are still wondering, HELL YES!!!!! just come on over, up, down, or in and join us. Just want to stop in for day? HELL YES!!!!! No charge for that. want an open house? My door is open right now. The door has been open since I got here. Want sixteen pages of activities? Sorry, wrong Airstream event,we are here to relax and enjoy some good old fashion fellowship. I strongly suspect that if the typical family reunion was anything like what we have here, this country would have a much stronger family ties.
If you are stuck at work and cannot leave yet, well, so sorry to hear about that "Explosive Digestive System Syndrom" forcing you to go home now.
Okay, bottom line... see ya at the Bash!!!!!!

Happy WB Birthday to all my fellow streamers and TACsters at the BASH II. I'll be thinking of you all this weekend and wishing I was there sharing in all the fun.
I can almost smell the bacon on the grill from here.
Here's hoping you all have a great time and please post lots of pics so I can enjoy the experience remotely.
Frank have a piece of cake and some of that homemade ice cream for me please.
I'll be busy here with our Canada Day party as I am expecting 500 people here this weekend. Between the seasonal campers and the weekenders there will be 130 trailers and tents here.
