Rally in northern Michigan?
Who,or how many would consider a rally in northern Michigan? closed to all but Airstreams and friends, Pig roast and a keg or two of craft brewed local beer. No bathrooms (campground does not want to open bathrooms, but there is water, and dump stations, electric, and a great lake to swim in ... tons of camaraderie , great fun and lovely northern michigan in the summertime ! Dates undetermined yet if interested cast your dates ,Thank You

If I am in this part of the universe, it sounds like it would be fun. The Silver Lady and I spend quite a bit of time up in that part of the state and north from there ...
But I've done several pig roasts in the past, and it is HOT and THIRSTY work (like standing around and loafing next to a bed of coals and watching the pig drip!), so the beer supply will be extremely important if the whole event is to succeed!

Sheryl and I would love to come if you guys don't mind a little cheese with your pig??? We wanted to make a trip to the UP next summer anyway, so may as well take Betty across the big bridge and test the hitch.
July is best but we do have a couple open weekends in August.
And I can bring the Dutch Oven and cook up a pot of Sheboygan baked beans to go with the pig, if you want.
Yep, we're in!

Plan it and they will come!
You live in a great part of Michigan. I am from Detroit, and Higgins lake is one of my favorite places to go.
I went to the Detroit rally and it was great! I suspect all the attendees at that rally might make it to your rally. Draginwagon was the rally master.

No problem my brother, I have already put some better knives in the trailer so I won't have to chop one up with steak knives again. Filleting a pig is one of my favorite things to do. Proper hydration is required for that kind of work, though. I would not want to get dehydrated and fall down and hurt myself.
I can't wait for the party to begin.

That attitude is the reason I am an Airstreamer!
I also talked to Tom tonight and he is interested in coming too.
