Any reccomendations for Ohio camping for the weekend of the 5th ? We have 3 little ones and need plenty of things to do to keep them busy. We usually go to mohican area, but just looking for something different.

Hi Teebs. Welcome to the Ohio Airstreaming world. Being that you're local to this area, you probably know a lot of what it has to offer. How old are your little ones? Are they old enough to have interests in specific activities yet? Bike riding? Hiking? Museums? We're always looking for other shiny campers with kids to camp with.

They are 8, 5, and 8 months . The older 2 like just about anything, bikes, dirt bikes swimming, and fishing . We really like camping at mohican adventures. Clean bathrooms clean showers and an indoor pool . We are in the middle of the reno so we do not have plumbing yet. Clean bathrooms and shower are kind of us must . Any thoughts?

Cool! We've got two boys age 8 and 6. Mohican State Park is nice and I think they have showers. A few posts above, I think there were a few people trying to get together during this week and maybe into next weekend at Mohican SP.

We've stayed at a number of the parks on Wally Rd. in Loudonville, but with the "tin tent" situation, so I can't speak for which are good and which are not. We always use the facilities in our airstream. We've camped a couple of times at Pleasant Hill (Pleasant Hill Lake Park - Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District) but I can't speak for shower house / bathroom. Charles Mill seems to have a nice CG, but we have never stayed there.

Let us know what works for you! We can accommodate. We have some plans later this month and we're camping nearly every weekend in Oct. We'd love to meet you and the family.

I think we may stay at mohican adventures. I will probably call tomorrow and see what's available. The kids really like the pool lol . I find out how many spots still available and let you know.

Lol my wife just informed me of what I posted for the kids ages . Our daughter is actually 10 and son just turned 6 !!! Lol I don't know what I was thinking when I was texting, either I was thinking of my youngest's age or the fact they are growing up to fast. Just wanted to clarify that lol.

I'm thinking of ordering 30lb aluminum lp tanks direct from worthington industries. If I can get them for $150 or less is anyone interested? I would have to order in quantity.

I had two of those on my '74. They looked really nice. My current Airstream has the cover for the steel bottles, so no need to spend the $ on aluminum. Thanks for the offer, though.

We booked a site at oak crest campground for this weekend . The kiddos want to see the caverns ! Anyone have a review of campground ? It is also fairly close to Jackson Center. Too
bad the kids are in school.... Won't make it there before the 2 pm tour.
