We are trying to see what we can do about scheduling this in. I'm not allowed to request any more days off (too many week vacations already planned) so if we can swing it we will be there again! May end up just driving out a day at the wine fest if we can't swing the whole weekend!

Do any of you Ohio Airstreamers meet with folks going to the Mothership? I know several folks have trips planned (including us...) in 2014.

Do you all take advantage of the opportunity to meet folks from all over as we "stream home"?

Ironically, living in Ohio, I've never been to the mothership. It's still a 3 hour drive and in order to take the tour I would have to take the kids out of school and a day off of work. Just can't justify that until the kids are older and can appreciate the visit. But we're happy to have courtesy parkers at our house on the way home or to the mothership. We are conveniently located just off of US 30 if anyone is traveling on that.

Yes, quite a few of us do.
We even say if you are coming through on the weekend or will be near cleveland, there is courtesy parking 35min south west of cleveland here with us! And if you come stay with us, we can make a handfull of phone calls and one of our famous potlucks springs up in a matter of hours with quite a few streamers in the area!

TAC membership is not required and we welcome non airstreams as well! We just wanna camp, have a good time, take in some sights, and eat some excellent food! Come join us its always a blast! PM me if you have any questions!

Just bumping this to the top. We have not seen many folks signing up and we hope that the colder weather is not discouraging you from joining in the fun. Last year it was really cold in the mornings and evenings, but we had sunny days. Since we have use of the "track" building that we can gather in the weather is not a big problem for visiting with others. Some of us bring crafts to work at and sit around the big tables in there to visit and work. Larry and I will be bringing our big coffee pot and we will have lots!
Come and join in the fun. Wooster has some great places to visit. Lehman's Hardware Store is always on our places to visit list.

Dawn and I are planning on heading to Maumee State park on the west side of Toledo this weekend.

Company for a campfire would be great if anyone would like to join us!

We will be at RockyFork State Park the weekend of September 18th to relax and checkout the full service upgrades recently installed in the upper wooded section of the park. Consider this an open invitation if anyone would like to join us. If interested the upgraded sites are long, wide and can be reviewed here. We are hosting a camp out at Foxfire campground just east of Upper Sandusky Ohio, May 15 to May 18, with our other club. Several of the other campers have said that Airstreamers are snobs. It would sure be nice to have a bunch of other Airstreamers there to help to show them just how nice we really are. If anyone is interested, contact Foxfire campground and tell them that you are with Columbia Campers Club.

We would have loved to join you, unfortunately, that is Cleveland Marathon weekend and we have an annual camp out all weekend and cheering section at the race for our canadian airstreamer friend who runs it every year!
I hope some other streamers show up!!

So sorry to say that we can't make it to your rally to help them change their attitude toward Airstreamers. Our NOVA group is certainly NOT snobby!! Larry and I have Big Al and Jean coming down from Ontario to courtesy park here while Jean takes part in the Cleveland Marathon.

Larry and I are going to be at the rally in the parking lot at the Haydocy dealership in Columbus. We are looking forward to being with 7 or 8 others who will be there to "Share the Dream". It should be a unique experience. If anyone else is in the area stop by and visit! We are hoping for good weather....or at least no snow!! LOL!!
