Larry, Loren and I have to go (with the two furry girls) to the Dock Dogs event at King's Island near Cinci this weekend. We are taking the Airstream and have to be there Thurs. thru Sun. We have found two campgrounds, Cedarbrook and Frontier Campground on the internet. Anyone know anything about either one of them? Or does anyone have any better information for a CG that would be good for the weekend? We only need electricity.
Thanks!
Lou and Larry

I was looking for things to do in the Cinci area while we are down there. Has anyone been to the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center? We will have some free time in the afternoons after Zora jumps in the Dock Dogs event.

Hi Lou
National Muesum of the United States Airforce. Come here and we will go with ya. Theres also a Museum at the old Union Station in Cinci.
Gary
So sorry we could not come last weekend. If Larry didnt tell ya. We had a funeral of a Longtime friend to attend on Thursday, that put us a day behind and the rain didnt give us any help either. I know we will meet up sooner or later.
Roger

My your roads be straight and smooth and may you always have a tailwind!
Roger - our condolences to you. Sorry we missed you guys also. Despite the weather it was a good time and I had the pleasure of meeting several nice folks who did nothing but make me feel as if I were an old friend.
I'm sure we will meet up at another event - look forward to it.
We were scheduled for Deer Creek this past weekend but it was too miserable (for us) to go. They apparently had so many cancellations that they gave us half our payment back even though we were past the deadline. I've already winterized and tucked the old boy in for a winter nap... always a sad day but leaves you with next season to look forward to.
ours is winterized as of right now. We camped this past weekend at Cardinal Center (just off I-71 @ exit 140). It was a camp with co-workers of mine. It is really a nice campground as long as you get back in the back away from the highway.
The AS is now behind the house so that I can easily access it from the basement where the new fridge and woodshop is. I've already disconnected everything on the fridge and moved work lighting into the AS. I figure I've got about 4 months to change the fridge, build new cabinets around it, remove the oven, and build a bunk bed. Oh yeah, and new axles plus a back-end sag check / fix. Should be fun!
It seems as though my motorcycle will be sold this evening, so there's the capital to accomplish all of the above!
DanB and all of y'all! Let us know when and where you are headed and maybe we will be able to join you. I cleaned the AS and have it all sorted out from the last trip and re-packed and ready to go again.

Becky was so sad when we left Dillon that she continues to insist we go out again. This Friday was leave for New York to join a cruise up the Hudson River Valley for the next week. But, upon our return, we hope to get out at least one more time. No idea as to where that might be, however. We do plan to take the AS to JC yet this fall - I've talked with them about getting some warranty work done so we're on record of needing some minor repairs. As soon as we return from the Hudson River trip, we'll schedule that trip also.
With the cold wet weather we've been having, I'm hoping we'll have some decent fall weather for camping. It seems to be warming up nicely....hope it lasts. Happy 'streaming to all - perhaps we'll run into some of you yet this fall - if not, next summer we'll start all over again.
