Human Children

Hey,

Is anyone bring "human" children? (Please don't tell me your dog is "almost" human.) I'm having challenges finding a babysitter for our 8 year old son to stay home with and he gets really bored without other kids on these trips.

(Also, is there free WiFi? Perhaps I should pack a TV & his Wii . . . .)

Thanks,
Virginia

Virginia,

Timcan will be bringing Gabriel who is younger but kids are always welcome and usually the adult children (and there are a lot of them) keep the younger ones engaged.

Yes...bring a TV and the Wii.
Since it may rain there may be a need for "indoor" activities.

Last rally there was DVD time for the kid(s) while the adults hung out.

But we all love kids so he'll have a great time.

Any other kids?

Yes, Gabriel will be directing traffic in Tim Can. We will bring many DVD's, games, duct tape, tranquilizers and one stun gun. Sorry the helicopters took on 2 SAM's (surface to air missles) in Temecula and are listed as Black Hawks down.

Not as bad as the experience I had w/ my 18 year old. Our radio control plane went beyond our radio range and has never been heard from again. Ameilia, Steve...I feel your pain.

Rick,

Good idea Rick, considering we are all spread out, the early start is a good idea, Maybe we can combine Happy Hour with the Potluck. Rick, it was great of you to volunteer to be the official Happy Hour/Potluck time announcer and our very own "Paul Revere" to spread the official start time once it has been established through the traditional Notreallyavotevote.

Does anybody have the gavel?

Who's sayin' What?

Hey Rick and everyone who's reading...

As you can see "read", Mr. Time and Thelma never communicate at their dwelling, rather, we spend our time on the forum separately at the same time in a different location of the dwelling posting at the same time on the same thread using the same screen name. I apologize to those who are deeply and greatly confused....
Anyway, since I am highly paid as the activities advisor of this event, whatever I said goes...or at least in the case, I hope.
If you have any question or complain, please direct them to ms.Wandering Wanda, she will sort out the matter in a timely fashion.

Yours sincerely,

Activities Advisor, Thelma =^^=

Potluck notes...

If anyone is still up...and not completely confused:

All you need to do is show up at party central around 3ish...

*have a Bloody Mary (or several) if you wish or BYO.

*wear a tacky Hawaiian/surf/tourist outfit or just wear your regular tacky outfit. (insert favorite smiley here)

It's all good. We're all flexible.

But be sure to bring a lantern (if you can) with your potluck dish so we know what we are eating...

AND

Please don't leave to go home to your Airstream without taking your potluck dish, utensils, pot holders, etc. with you.

We have been making a fortune at garage sales with all the stuff left behind.

Thank you.

W. Wanda

Dark at potluck time?

Hi, as Bam said, bring a lantern or some sort of light to the potluck or just be surprised in the dark. Also you might want to bring "Mary Poppins" [umbrella] with you; It might get wet. Check-in time is 2:00 PM. Will they let us in if we come early? [like noon] We will be there Friday.
