The 5 to the 210 to the 57 to the 5 kinda' gets sorta' around LA. I don't know that its quicker but the 405 can be in a word, grueling.

I agree, the 5 is about 15 miles shorter, but you can loose that time easily in downtown LA, plus the road is wider and newer going around 210 to 57 to 5.

4 days and counting...Terry and I will be arriving Thursday afternoon with teens (Katy and friend) in tow.
We are following Fiesta Lisa and Safari Rick's lead in the food catagory with a large Vegetable lasagne. We figure it will go with the Bloody Mary's. Terry reminded me that anything goes with Bloody Marys.
FC will be sporting a new look designed specifically for the beach. I'm working hard to find matching outfits for all.
We're off to find an electric knife to trim our memory foam mattress topper. This is so that at least our mattress will remember who slept there last.
