I think a long ways back someone said Hawaiian, surf and turf? Break out the hawaiian attire, ......... and for the folks that can't make the winter rally, they can bring their ugly sweaters (a continuation of Ms Bam's First Annual Post Holiday Ugly Sweater Extravaganza). Perhaps the winners of the Man, Woman and Critters categories can take on the newcomers!!! Debbie

So the theme is Hawaiian - thats cool with us. But can someone tell us if we are to bring food to share for a get together, Booze is a given, but how about pupu's?

Usually there is a potluck on Saturday night.

And often a brunch on Sunday with the leftovers.

And sometimes a Happy Hour on Friday with munchies.

People also make their own and bring it to eat together around the campfire at various times.

We also like to go out to eat occasionally to check out the local hot spots.

But we are very flexible depending on the mood, the weather, who shows up, and if there is anyone who wants to get out of their lounge chair.

So the short answer is "yes, there is a potluck on Saturday".

Perhaps we can have a contest for the Best/Worst Hawaiian Tourist Costume. I have a feeling there may be some really bad...uh...interesting tourist wear out there.

Uwe, I am with you there. That's my favorite spot...mmmm, I can just taste the oyster and chowder right now. Don't forget a nice glass of champagne to go with that....

Since we are doing Hawaiian we will probably do Kahlua pork for the potluck....and of course the ever present Margy ball. We will be arriving late Wednesday afternoon and leaving Monday am. Aloha!!

Oh yeah, wanna do a superbowl appetizer potluck on Sunday afternoon? We will be bringing our satellite dish and if anyone has a larger portable TV we can hook up to it. We have a 13" TV we travel with which is not a "party size" TV.

i'm arriving thr and departing mon. i may be reached at the oyster bar at any time, unless i'm at my other favorite dive bar (well three actually).

re: TV. i have a Toshiba projector and 100" screen, if that would help.

put me down for a PuPu platter.

considering the location of the convention, and the attendies; i see a ten rating on the horizon.
