Another excellent tip.

But don't forget...

What happens at a rally, stays at a rally.

Ed knows nothing about it.

for this Thread On Topic...

if you have a entrance door lock that looks like the picture below. there's a free fix available, click on the blue link:

http://www.airforums.com/forums/f453...fix-32012.html

this locks have a defect. if you slam the door really hard, the deadbolt will slide, and you may be locked out. it happens, a lot.

babeebloos, just in time for this. You might want to take a look into that before the next rally...although three is a charm, let's not hope it happens again.

Not to worry......#83 has been quietly sequestered for exclusive use as Notreallyarallyrally Party Central....right on the bluff, overlooking the blue Pacific, with only our fellow Airstreamers within striking distance....unless someone screws up and cancels without letting us save the spot for our own....NO MORE CASINI or PYRAMID LAKE boo-boos...please.

We did invite "Gorman Chris", unfortunately, he is finishing his doctrate and is tied up with his research. We gave it our best.

Oh darn.

His monster rig really provided a lot of shade for my Bambi...well my entire campsite...and several others as well.

He will be missed.

on the last day, in 95 degree weather, he asked for a computer lesson. it's the fastest i ever seen this group move.

the greeter took the bullet.

He was a nice guy...with an enormous rig. We're talking HUGE. We could have shown several movies at once on one side. (See below)
Notice how it dwarfs the Ottermobile next to it (which is no Bambi I might add).

And no. I've never seen this group clear out that fast unless they were late for the cocktail party.

Question...

So explain to me again...why are we not trying to all be in the same section?

Because...

A good long hike to the potluck will help burn some calories?

Some of us make too much noise?

You want to get to the margi-ball first?

Some of us really should try the showers?

What?

Simple, some of us enjoy the beautiful view of the ocean and bluff, surrounded by lush greenery, and lots of lots of space and privacy (which means party central without sssshuuuu), while some of the other choose to have all the amenities like hot shower, even it means surrounding themselves with SOBs in the parking lot.

Hope it is sufficient for you, ms. smith.
