Wow, made it back fro Laughlin, NV.
Boy! was it hot there (115 degrees plus humidity = 117).
It was like sticking your head in the oven.
The next day wasn't so bad. (it was only 110 degrees).
Too hot to really do anything during the day. We left this morning at 11:00 a.m when it was already 100 + degrees.
Glad to be back in Lakewood, California which is near the ocean. All I can say is Bless you folks that live out in the desert and those inland areas!
These trips to the inland remind me why I joint the Navy and NOT the Army.
