The Eureopeen Airstrteam meeting 2008 was held in the south of France as it has been for the 5 past years at Belrepayre Airstream & Retro Trailer Park.
A great time had by all, Airstreams from Belgium, Holland, England, Germany and France and a few other french vintage caravans joined in too.
This year we did not invite the general public so it was really only us Airstreamers with a great family vibe.
Saturday morning started with us all going into the field and laying down on the floor to make a big Airstream while Coline flew over with a microlite and took pictures, we also spelt the word LOVE (all can be seen on photo album) however the airstream was not very clear, not easy to do.
The day continued with various activities.
The music was great with Coyotte steel slide guitar and dobro who new most songs in english and french.
To follow that a great bbq with our organic lamb, in fact the all meal was organic.
After the meal a great magic show by Coreo Hazzard and later in the evening the continuation saga of "Al Wreckit and son", a slap stick routine with an Airstream.
The evening finished with a great 70's disco.
This year I was able to have time to make a exhibition of Airstream photographs and artifacts also an exhibition of clown paintings and scluptures by my father who was one of the oldest working clown in Europe.
We also had a drive-in under the stars, big screen cinema evening on the sunday night.
The weather was with us all the week-end.
