I am confused, have we decided on "Massies Mill" as the spot or am I mingling conversations?

Rodney,

At this point I'm not sure. I'll say this, I'm happy to host the event in Massies Mill the weekend of May 13-15th. If someone else would like to do it some place else that is fine too. Just let me know what I need to do.

The first Boondocker Club Rally

Massy's Mill works fine for me, I was just having trouble sorting the thread out (I thought we were looking further north- but that is of no consequence). If all goes to plan, I will be finished with the semester that Monday at which point I become a full-timer again. If you need/want someone there early to muck around with things that shouldn't be an issue. I do think we should consider a new thread for this rally- The first Boondocker Club Rally

We should name the club. I vote for RRBCI (Rodney Roosevelt Boondocking Club Irrational) . Well why not, if Wally can name a club after himself why can't I?

Why not ?/ They will just want to rename it Airstream boondockers RV association anyway.

Wally did not name the club nor did he found it. It is a very common myth that he did.

I think we should try and get all the details ironed out in the next few days, like the specific location, arrival times, local sources of water, dump stations and so on.......

Rodney,

The location has a water connection, one 15amp outlet(I can also bring a honda genset), don't worry about gray, I'll work on show up times but I know Friday morning works and "maybe" (don't hold me to it) even Thurs afternoon,

Those that are planning to come, please send me an email or PM and I'll provide the directions and other needed information.

Looking through the thread, this is what the attendance looks like to me. Anyone else thinking about coming? Those on the May attend list, what is your plan?

Attending (number in party):

rideair- ?
Boondocker- 1
62overlander- 4

May attend:

pmclemore-?
JStanley-?
airstreamhobo-?

I will bring along my genset and folding pick nick table as well.By the way, does anyone know if Crabtree Falls Highway is good/safe for biking?

Looks like we are pinned home until Alumapallooza. Have a great time - we were just up in that area and Crabtree Falls is as strong as I have ever seen. Take your cameran, Rodney...(as if.....)
