Metro-Detroit Rally 2008!

Well the time has come to let the old thread for 2007 to retire.
Here we are going to get the info needed to get our 2008 rally ready to go!
I was talking with Dave, "drag'nwagon", last night. He and his family have stayed at KC Campground before. It sounds nice. I am throwing my pink beanie into the ring and saying we add KC Campground to the list of potential sites!

I think it would be a nice place to consider. The one thing we have to keep in mind is to be certain that it does not interfere with their Bluegrass Festival weekend.

KC is alright with the big playground for the kiddies and swimmin hole. The sites that back up to the playground and the pond are the ones to get.

And not a moment too soon I say!

We're pulling out in T-minus four days for our trip to Lexington, KY. After that, all thoughts will turn to the Metro-Detroit Rally.

Derek was able to run all the gas lines to Felix this afternoon, I did a bit of cleaning, painting, installing of smoke detectors, etc.

I also tried out the oven for the first time. Bad news is that a perfectly good coffee cake had to lose it's life in the spirit of experimentation.......good news is the new smoke alarm works!

Make sure you blink your lites when you pass exit 57 on I 75. Oh OHIO ODOT in its infiniate wisdom has started construction on I 75 thru downtown Dayton,that is if you come this way, so be sure to allow yourself a little extra time and be aware of STOPPED TRAFFIC.

Im getting ready for the season also I have been workin thru some problems not address by the PO. I hope to have it ready to go by the end of this month. We are looking forward to a new adventure and new friends.

Yes we are planning on comming. I am the designated DRIVER. MaryLou has been granted 4 days off for that weekend.I been doing some rewiring today,the new fridge was not wired correctly. We will come even though we probably wont have the new axles in,I dont believe it will hurt to tow 150 total miles,its pretty smooth road and we will load very lite. Will keep U updated Ralph.
