OK, I have been away for almost 4-5 days. The Rivettes rally was a blast and we sure were pleased to see all of the folks come down from Michigan!!! and Canada....and from all over Ohio! Where and when is the Metro Detroit? We are waiting to see if it is going to be in the plan for us. Hey, Lou! Where are you???

Ooh, my neck of the woods! I'll come downstate for that, in either location (albeit in my car, just for the day). I'll bring my own bib so I don't drip on the Airstreams as I drool with envy over all the pretty aluminum goodness.

I am currently living in the booming metropolis of Grayling, have been here for 9 months, have family here and spent many childhood summers "up north". Before that I was in Kalamazoo for a year and a half. I'll be here another few years before I can hitch up and hit the road.

Been away from the forums for a little while....
I had to get ready to head down to Tennessee. Now I am sitting in the LPPI Mobile Command Center and Nail Salon.
I am about 50 miles south of Nashville. I am down here teaching high-level automation to the former Saturn-current GM skilled trades people.
I am camping out in the trailer and loving it.... It beats the hell out of a hotel room anyday!
I went toodling past the JC exit last Sunday morning. I guess there was a rally there but I really had no time to stop. I kept on hauling "a".
I will be calling KC campground this weekend. I have things I have to take care of down here first.
I am staying four weeks now. Leaving the trailer and coming home for the week of Memorial Day. Then down here for a week. Then back home for a week. Then down here for a week and then back for a week. Then down here for a week. And then my boss is paying my mileage to haul my butt up to KY Lake for a week of vacation. As it stands now, I will spend 7 weeks in the trailer. 6 of them will be paid! Now don't you wish you could do that?

Lou, Last weekend was the "We Can Tow It" rally...or the Girlie Girl II...as Ralph calls it. We had a great time at Grand Lake St. Mary and we are ready to do it again. A great time was had by ALL....Larrita, the gals, the men, Sam, and all those pets! Sorry you missed it!

It amazes me that U would pass (by 6 miles ) a nice breakfast ,with wonderful people, on a beautiful site and a sunshiny Sunday morning.What seems to be your problem? We had such a great time and U missed it. Sometimes U need to STOP and smell the Coffee,and it was good too.
Maybe next time U will start earlier .

in the thread somewhere. Did Lou take the poll? Is it KC or Walnut Hills? Is gthere a definitive date? If so, I need to get this on my calendar and see if I can defend the date. I never know for sure where I'll be until a week or so in advance, but I'm definitely gonna' try to get there.
Lou: I went to my first rally there at Grand Lake / St. Mary's and brought along my sort of "camping" food - a couple of hardboiled eggs, some Fritos and a beer or two. But these folks just stuffed me full of quesadillas, margaritas, and a lot of other delicious things! Next time, I'll be more like a Boy Scout and will "be prepared"!!!! Too bad you "cruised past" on your way to your camping / teaching / vacationing adventure in Tennessee!
