WHAT?! Do I see a member of the Strike Team fully armed and loaded (with the recipe?) Just teasing...got to kid a kidder, you know! Summer beverages such as mint juleps and iced tea were quite refreshing on our summer day. Every Airstream was different on our tour and everyone was a terrific host and hostess. Open House is always my favorite event with all the Airstreams decorated and decked out in all their finery. Touring together meant that no one was left behind in their trailer or absent while viewing the other Airstreams. We got to be both host and guest and not miss a thing. It was a great way to spend the afternoon and get better acquainted.

Tom and Steve's Curtis Wright also had some very unique and creative innovations in place of standardized systems. Replacing the galley with a fresh water filled vintage Drip-O-Lator coffee urn, a practical and stunning silver microwave and a picnic basket for storage added interest and funtionality in a stylish way.

And to end the rally and the last of my pictures, the campfire where all are drawn to fellowship, stories, jokes, music and fond memories of activities gone by and anticipation of the next.
Renee and Derek treated us to a fire show of dancing color and Shenim and Al filled us with scrumptous fruit pies hot from the iron topped with ice cream.

I'm sitting here with my lower lip sticking out, I missed a great rally. The closest we could come to being with you guys was to play the slots at the Flamingo, which we did. I would rather have had my flamingos out for the open house. The pictures are wonderful, but they make me really jealous. I'm glad everyone had a good time and we'll make every effort to be there next year.

Yes C.J. Thats corn in the photo. I thought I would try something different and bring corn this year..Was that OK???If so, I may try to bring it again in 09.. As for the kids in the Tie Died shirts.. I really wonder about the one in the top center of the photo. Where is his shirt??? Some "KIDS" you just cant reach!
