Well, I am thinking that would be good.
My long-term trip to TN has been postponed by another week. I will be leaving April 26th for TN. I am pretty excited.
I have a lot of friends down there. I have always hung out with them while I was down there for work but I was staying in a hotel room. Now I get to really have some fun and get paid to do it!
It would be sweet if we could hook up with someone that would pay all of our way to the rally!

My house to Walnut hills = 193 miles, 3 1/2 hours, 38 gallons of gas, $133 plus beer

My house to KC = 129 miles, 2 1/4 hours, 26 gallons of gas, $91 plus beer

Visiting with fellow airstreamers = Priceless!

If people are looking at mapquest I wonder if coming from the south it takes you west on I 69? If so thats the LONG way around to Walnut. Like I said best way is west on Silver Lake Rd near Fenton...

I am not sure if I am going to do a poll on here or if I am going to have an email vote to an impartial party.
I feel that the poll results could be skewed on here. Everyone can vote on it even if they have no affliation, nor the intention of coming. If there are two user ID's in a home it counts as two individual votes.
I will have to think about it a little more while I am making the world safe for the automation of the production of 6-speed front wheel drive transmissions!

Honestly Lou, this sounds like it is getting more complicated then it should be.

As far as I'm concerend, your probably in a lose/lose situation where someones gonna be pissed no matter what. So I'm giving you my official proxy. Just pick one and keep the fire going till I get there.....

Now that is the attitude I like!
I could care less where it is held, myself.
Either one is about the same distance for me.
I guess I am just trying to do it the way I have always done it. VOTE.
Whichever one gets the most votes, that is it. Nothing more to say.
The attitude over where to go, (in my mind), has only been eclipsed by last year's "hold that spot for me" attitude.
I am not sure if I will just pick one myself and put this all to rest or if I will do the poll. Most rallies are not done this way. Usually, you pick a spot and then tell 'em all to show up... or not....
I could also stick the two campgrounds' names in a pink beanie and pull out one! Now that is true LPPI logic at work!

Been working on the 25 footer all weekend.
Got new tires and I painted the wheels up so they look nice a purty behind the wheel covers.
I pressure washed it too. It looks all nice and shiny now!
Lord willing and the creek don't rise, I will be pulling out of here next Saturday night around 9 p.m. or so. I like to tow at night, fewer cars and semis.
I should be pulling into the campground down there, south of Nashville sometime around 8 a.m.
I will be posting the campground poll this week. I will post a link to it in this thread.

Hi Gang,
Back home again. Broke but happy. Can you believe these fuel prices. Time for another call to my Senators and Rep. In D.C. It doesn't seem to do any good, but they know me by my first name now. I think we need to start a phone drive. I know it is the commodity brokers that cause this, but lets take oil off the trading list so those billionaires don't hedge their inflation on our backs.
