Hi All!
We just wanted to chime in and say a huge thanks to everyone for making this rally a wonderful time for all to enjoy. Rhonda and Dave were fabulous hosts and great organizers. Our boys love the shirts, and the models, and the toys from the raffle, and the campground, and the food....let's just say they had a great time. (Except when they got in trouble for making a lake by Brad and Carol's trailers.) Aahhh boys!
Renee, the progressive cocktail party was brilliant! Although I was done-in by about the fifth trailer! Mary Lou, your sun tea was very timely and delicious to boot. Shinim, great food and cute puppies. Tom and Steve, great trailer...I may steal the curtain design! Laura, I swear I saw an eerie face in the window of the caravel when we saw you pass us on US23...be careful. Ralph, great corn! Rob and Zoe, wow great Airstream and cute kids...we have chickens too. Amy and Steve, now I am so curious to find out more about "The Trailer". Ryanh, it was great to meet you. And Everyone else who was so friendly, THANKS! Hope to see everyone in Mackinaw City!

Curtis Write Photos
I already left a post on how much we enjoyed the rally, but I did neglect thanking Rhonda and Dave. Great job.
Here are the photos of a Curtis Write trailer that Diane and I spotted a couple of years ago in Flat Rock. I am going to PM sfuqua that they are posted. I know any kind of documentation of these trailers must be difficult. I think the owner at the time would have entertained offers (it was sitting in the back of a brick distributor), but it was much to big of a project for me at the time- as the inside was gutted.
Shawn.

Just to put the seed in your collective minds.....gas here in Missouri is $3.50 a gallon today. Maybe not a bad place to rally sometime.

Back it down a notch Felix'64, pictures are from a couple of years ago, it might not be available any more. It sure would be cool to have one, our basement doesn't really ever need to be finished.

Curtis Write Trailer
Sorry everybody, I didn't mean to get your hopes up. The trailer disappeared shortly after I took these pictures. I then spotted it on the road in the area about a year later and somebody had totally restored the outside, but you could tell the inside was still empty. So somebody was working hard on it.

Outstanding!
Hi All! Brad and I finally made it home today. Sorry to be so late but we were without internet.
Rhonda and Dave you were the host and hostess with the mostess! Young and older, we all had plenty of fun, and the weather and facilities could not have been more perfect for the rally. Thanks for working very hard with preparations to make our rally a grand success. It was much appreciated and enjoyed.
The progressive cocktail open house was very cool and I got to try so many diverse and fun offerings. The garbage can turkeys were ever so succulent and flavorful and samplings of dishes too many to fit on two trips (and I tried really hard! ) were wonderful. Breakfast was another spoiler. We could really get to used to living full-time at rallies of this caliber.
Glad so many new and old friends were able to attend and from near and far. Hearing Rob laugh was like a live podcast of our very own. And seeing "THE" trailer had us reeling from all the celebrity at this rally.
I don't know who had the best time of it all the children or all the adults. It was fun just watching them having so much fun together. The tie-dyed shirt creations and tatoos were super.
My only complaint is that the rally went much too quickly and left us wanting to spend much more time with everyone and now waiting until next year will be hard. Thank you everyone for all you did to make a fabulous time and hope to see you again soon.

Starting off the open house, Rhonda and Dave serve white trailer trash from Ike. No not us, that's the cocktail made with white wine.
Then over in Roosevelt(? hope I have my presidents and eras correct? ) we have posh noshs and plenty of flamingo company.
