Us & the boys are reserved on site 51. As of now, the MoHo is the intended camping device to attend.

Updated Map!

Please be aware that just because a space is white, does not mean it is available!

Seasonal campers and other SOBs may be in certain spots. Reserve early to get the best choice!

Speaking of thinking...no one has mentioned alcy-hol. I assume the arrangement will be the same ad last year with regards to "don't mention it, just do it". I hope the weather permitting trailer crawl or pavilion afternoon bar is planned.

Bill I think I got a hold of some of that Strawberry Coolaide last year by mistake. It really did taste good. BUT being a NON Drinker is almost did me in. NOT ALMOST, it did me in. I missed the campfire and everything on Saturday night. I will be more causious this time.

Roger I am a drinker and that Kool-aid did do me in. I can't remember the last time I was that hammered. I was alright for the fire, but I missed the climbing wall.

KoolAid

I know that Shinim is already brewing that Strawberry "juice". I saw it yesterday. Today is Al's birthday. We did a little celebrating yesterday!

I know you have been to Metro-Detroit only once, but there are some things that need not be said.

We decided to visit some of our Northern friends and were coming to your rally!
We are going to cruise around Michigan for the remainder of the that week - if you have any recommendations on things we should see - lemme know!
I was thinking about a drive up the "thumb" side.

Hey alright!!! Can't wait to see that adorable baby and dog of yours!!! Just kidding. Really I'm so happy that you decided to join us. I'm sure Dave could point out some areas of interest in the thumb area since he grew there.

If ya have a day,you can spare, make arrangements to leave the trailer rite where it is and Go visit GREENFEILD VILLAGE and the HENRY FORD Muesum in Dearborn on the edge of Detroit. IT will take you all day, maybe two. I have not been there for many years but its well worth the trip and its an easy drive from Indian Creek.
SEE YA THERE

Glad to have you this year Crispyboy!
There are some great places to go camping in the thumb, I reccomend Port Cresent state park by Port Austin. The thumb IMO is he jewel of Michigan (highly biased) partly because there are no freeways once you get north of I-69.

When we attended the TCT last month, we took a side trip to the Henry Ford Museum. I hoped to see the car/camper exhibit, but it is closed for remodeling until 2012. Lots of other displays to see though.

If anyone's up for a bit of adventure, I've been lucky enough to get some unexpected time off and I'm trying to arrange a caravan which ends at Detroit-Metro. If anyone else can get the week off and join me and whoever else joins in, please do so!
