Michael - Thanks for making an extra stop to camp with us.
Love all the shirts that you design!
- my new "We Can Tow It" shirt - thanks for signing it for me!
And your AS-made made-from-scratch cake at the potluck was yummy!

See you down the road!

If you've never looked - Michael does more than Airstream art.

We had so much fun and will look forward to camping again with all of you. I like the suggestion for one in all four corners. We know a very secluded campground in NE IA and we also enjoy Blackhawk in DeSoto, WI. Anyone interested?

Ok, here's the suggestion and whomever wants to come is welcome. This campground is very secluded no amnities so to speak. About 20 minutes north of Waukon, about 50 minutes south of Lanesboro and about a 30 minutes from Decorah. (NE IOWA). Lanesboro is a fun little town with biking, canoeing, small shops and in the mist of Amish country. Decorah is also a small college town with some nice restaurants and shops. The main draw is that it is very, very secluded and just sitting around visiting is nice. The view when the colors are out will be beautiful. Here is the website. Home

It's clean, has a pavilion we could possibly rent/reserve if we know people are interested. The shower house leaves something to be desired in my opinion, but I use our Airstream. Electricity and water are available. I do believe they have a dump station. Here is the suggestion: We are going to camp there on Friday and Saturday, Oct 1 - 3, 2010. If anyone would like to join us, let me know.

Airstream Blues

Lauri and I are still in the midst of harvesting and fall tillage. Just remembering the summer and the fun we had. I look at the Airstream and think we all should be able to take off and spend our days sitting around the park and evenings by the campfire singing. As the 1 year anniversary of our obtaining our International passes, am I going to obsess like this forever?

What is the cure?

John

We will do a SW Iowa TAC in the spring. Maybe something on the farm. Lots of room by the Loess hills. Can anyone run a planter?

You picked the best place in Iowa!
And trout fishing central - yes we love the wiley Iowa trout - Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, and Brookies!
We are so sorry to be out of town - we would have loved to have seen you again. You are so fun to camp with - will we see you this spring?

SW Iowa in the spring? Yipee!!!!!!!
We look forward to the details, so we can get this on our calendar!
I'd love to learn to drive a planter - is it one of the really cool green and yellow planters with like a bazillion rows? My garden is planted only one seed at a time, and no power tools!

My goodness......oh no....oh my..... and oh dear
The cold Iowa winter appears to be here.
But we'll not whine about winter's sting
Cuz there's TAC rallies coming in spring!

Yep! We'll fill our cold days and wintery nights
With thoughts of TAC friends and seeing the sites
As we gather together to have some fun
Can't wait till spring of twenty one, one!

We for this, just let us know when and where! We so enjoyed our time with everyone at Saylorville; looking forward to camping again already and we just put it away. We never seem to get out of the mood of taking out the Airstream.
