I don't think we should call this a Rally, it's sounds like the "other" group. Other thoughts?

We are IA TAC-5 and we are camping in Honeysuckle. There are still 10 sites left in Honeysuckle for this weekend.

Hi Mike!
The same person who assigned your TAC number can send you a copy of the April TAC newsletter with all the TAC numbers assigned before April 25th, I think the 25th.... And as you have a TAC number, you should get the next newsletter - just contact Rob at airstreamnut@gmail.com

Great question!
I think I can provide a small gift to the Iowa TAC not-Rally attendee who comes up with the best name!

Mike,
If you go to the above link, you can click on the campground map, then choose a site and it will tell you the length, facilities available at each site and the condition, i.e., gravel, paved or grass. . We have camped there numerous times and I know that all are gravel, but some are now paved, in Coneflower, that have paved them. We did not reserve a loop to camp as a group, because I personally do not like them as well as the individual sites.
We aren't keeping track of who is staying where. We are in Honeysuckle. These are gravel with roomy grassy areas. There are various lengths in this circle.

Can someone from Illinois come, too? We've reserved site #180 Hone. We've got a teeny 16 foot 1960 Pacer. We tried rallies before, haven't in years. The no agenda agenda is very appealing. What can I bring for the potluck? AL

Potluck
Sorry, haven't been checking, we have our son's wedding this weekend in Ames. Afterwards, I can plan the potluck. Right now, I'm thinking this is the easiest:
Everyone bring: bag chairs, beverages and a dish to pass. Everyone should also bring there own table service.
Dish to pass - I suggest that when we get closer we volunteer whether it's veggie, fruit, meat or starch or dessert. That way we don't have all desserts
By the way, we are going to bring our ice cream maker and we'll have homemade ice cream for dessert with some kind of bar cookie. Do we need more than one? Probably so, depending on how many people will be there. There will be 2 of us. Guess we need a count, so I make enough...
I'll send out another note the week before at the latest, so we can have a bit of organization to the meal.
We have plenty of weiner sticks, so we can roast hotdogs, & s'mores..... can't camp without that. Our site is fairly spacious; we've hosted 25 + for a birthday party at this site.
Everyone have a wonderful 4th of July! More later...

Sites available
There are still 5 sites available for this weekend in Honeysuckle. Other areas of the campground may still have space, but I just check for availability at Honeysuckle.
So if you have decided, there is still room available for you. All Airstream Lovers are welome!!

Candy; I have a 4qt IC hand crank that I can bring, also have a screen canopy, 10x10 and a tarp. THESE ARE FOR SHADE, NOT RAIN. Let me know. We are in H-185 which I think is next to you.
We will do a meat dish; either swedish meatballs or BBQ

Mike, if you could make ice cream also, that would be great!! Thanks for helping! Also, thanks for letting me know you will bring a meat dish. I believe you are correct that we are right next to each other at the sites. Besides, a dessert, I'll bring a meat dish also. Also, we will have weiner sticks available for hotdogs. Our site is really shady and so is yours. I know some of the sites, such as H179 and H180 are pretty much in the sun. I think H176 is partially in the shade. We like this particular circle due to the amount of shade on most of the sites.

when are you getting there, and is anyone else arriving early (thursday)?
