This is eerie!!!

Last Thrusday, I was heading to West Virginia for some skiing, when almost half way there I got a call that my dad had a heart attack and was in the hospital. I turned around and hightailed it back to Michigan. Luckily, his heart attack was "mild" and they only found two blockages. They put a stent in one on Friday, and are scheduled to do the other tomorrow. Depending upon how things go I may or may not be available on Saturday. However, if I am around, Pizza Popolus is close by, so Lorrie and I should be able to make it. I will try to keep you posted, but if I run out of time to reply back I'm sure you'll understand.

If any of you Michiganders has a 31 or 34' older model in good condition that you're thiking of trading up from let me know as I am looking. Or even if you know somebody else off the boards that might have something. I just missed buying a beauty in Ohio and was pretty disappointed.

It is an informal thing and, although it would be good to have a head count, you can show up when you can.
I am thinking that we can do the potluck on April 8th. What do the rest of you think?

Joe,
How is your dad doing? I pray he is doing better.
Candie's mom is due to come home tomorrow.
We have been freed up for the evening.
Looks like Pizza Popolus here we come!

Lou,
Thanks for your prayers. My Dad is doing as well as could be expected following such an episode. He is back home recuperating.

I hope that Candie's Mom is doing just was well, although she obviously went thru a much bigger ordeal with the bypass.

Lorrie and I do plan to make it to Pizza Papalis (correct spelling confirmed on a recent "drive by"). We have never been there, but have been wanting to try it out, so this should be great!

Directions for the uninitiated are:
- Take Rochester Road North from M-59 about 1/2 mile to Auburn Rd.
- Turn Left (West) on Auburn Rd.
- Pizza Papalis will be the 2nd building on the right (i.e. on the north side of Auburn). There is a big sign - you can't miss it.

The Neumann's will try to make it to the Pizza party this Saturday.

I have to work but should be done by 2:00pm. So around 4:30 to 5:00 sounds fine.

A good time was had...

Sorry Leo drove all over New York looking for it and could not find it....
We did have a great time.
We have discussed having the rally at a campground near the MI/OH border to make it easier for the Ohio contingent of the LPPI to attend.
I am not sure if it will be in July or August. Everyone that wants to attend the Metro-Detroit Rally chime in with your ideas of when or even where.
