My husband and I grew up in Chicago and would you believe we didn't even know the traditional Chicago style pizza! I did go to Ginos in HS once but that was soooo long ago.

Anyway, we finished the leftovers today. Bradley and I ordered TWO pizzas one thin, one pan. Oh my, yes, I told you I ate way TOO much! The ingredients and toppings were very generous and the crust was like pastry. The sauce and sausage nicely seasoned, tomatoes sweet. The bruschetta was excellent too with the sweet red onion and those tomatoes. Yummmm

I bet if we twisted Tin Sista's arm she'll have a quite nice pizza graphic for us to enjoy and complete the visual for our virtual pizza date with you.

Gino's East is great pizza.
Pizza Papalis is great too. It is a real deep, deep dish with the toppings accounting for a little better than half of the deep dish! Candie and I had the meat lovers with garlic added to it! AWESOME!

I'd be happy to but everyone has to agree on toppings first!

Prior commitments kept me from attending, but I just want to know if anyone had the little stinky fish on their pizza? Nobody in his right mind would order those little stinky fish so I'm wondering if maybe Lou did?

This is really funny, Rog! I love anchovies! I do not eat them in public though.

Here's a head's up for your unit or someone in it. There is a fellow on the Forums who lives in the Detroit area and he is looking for a GOOD previously owned A/S. He needs help finding one and I'm sure he'd make a great new member if he finds one. Could someone contact him through the forums? His name on here is WACNSTAC. Please get with him and give him a hand like I know Metro can do..... Jan

Most of us are not part of the Metro Detroit WBCCI Unit. The rallies we are talking about on this thread are not part of the WBCCI. I am not even a member.
I will try to help him all I can at finding a trailer, that's for sure. If anyone can find anything that has posted to this thread is Rog! He is my hero, (except when it comes to pizza toppings).
Tell WACNSTAC to PM me and I will help him out. He can also post on here and we will welcome him no matter what he is towing.

Congrats Lou!! You make the forum a better place! Wow, a big night for Detroit huh? 1000 posts for Lou, 1,500 games for Stevie Yzerman, then you know I looked closer at the screen, thinking what a remarkable coincidence...you don't suppose? Naah
