So glad you get to come for the weekend! I hope Debbie comes too. (I'm sure I'll get to see your '59 someday!)

Yes that was in jest, i will bring the newer Airstream so as to enjoy the weekend, I am sure I can twist Debbie's arm especially since we havem been to two wedding the last two weekends and we missed Springstream because of one so I am sure she will sneak away with me for the stone Mountain Rally, I can't believe I got a site ... thought it was filled weeks ago :-) looking forward to it.

Sewer question

I looked on the web but couldn't find the answer, Do the purple section have sewer? I'm starting to pack and just wonder if I need to pack my tote. Looking forward to the gathering.

Dinner Thursday night at the German Restaurant

Hello all!
Can't believe that it is FINALLY time for the rally at Stone Mountain! One of the items on the agenda was a group going to dinner on Thursday night at the German Restaurant in Stone Mountain.

Plan to meet at the Pavillion at 6pm Thursday evening. I have told the restaurant to expect us some time around 6:30. If you could PLEASE let me know if you think you will join us, that would help them plan ahead. I told them I wouldn't know definitively, but that I could give them a good idea. Add your name to this list:

Beth Wallace & Chris Sanor

Also, remember that we live a few miles outside the park and if you need to stealth camp Thursday night, the street in front of our house or our driveway is available with electric only. Looking forward to seeing everyone.
Beth

This cold windy weather is on it's way out! The forecast is for highs in the 80's and lows in the 60's Thursday thru Saturday with only a few sprinkles predicted for Sunday afternoon. Sounds better than we could have ever planned for.

To answer the earlier question of what to bring:
Friday: Appetizer to share, and your own drinks 6:00 Pavilion
Saturday: A Dinner type Casserole, Salad, or Dessert to share 4:00 Pavilion
Sunday: A Brunch type item to share Around 10:15 Pavilion (After Church Service)

There are electric outlets at the Pavilion for crock pots, skillets and such appliances.

Try to remember to bring your own paper plates, napkins, silverware and drinks to the social gatherings.
Sunday: coffee, cocoa, waffles, pancakes will be provided.
Extra Syrup would be nice if someone wants to bring some along.

Remember to put your Forum Name on a card in the driver's side windshield for the gate attendant to let you in free, until we can all get our weekend park passes at Registration Desk.

I will be bringing "Tour of Trailer" signs for anyone who wants to participate on Fri. 4:00-5:45, or Sat. from 10:00- 11:45 or so.

Packing up and trying to get ready to come hopefully on Thursday. See you soon. Kristi

Hi Beth,

This is 1968 Caravel. We will be in site #150 and would like to be included in the German Restaurant outing.

Look forward to meeting everyone, this being our first rally, we are not sure how things go and what to do.

Thanks,

Skip and Jane Petsch

I am not really big on pot lucks, they have a tendency to disagree with my stomach and frankly I am not much of a cook. I am set for the Friday night meet and greet, but don't have a clue what to do for the main pot luck on Saturday.
Trailer and TV are all loaded and ready to roll out first thing tomorrow morning. Going to split the trip into two days. I am not in a hurry and plan on taking it slow and easy. See everyone on Thursday.

Count us in

If plans go according count the Thomason GAT site 158 (2) in for the German restaurant trip. Understand that things can change or cancel at any time. Our fourth Grandchild a boy is due Saturday so who knows?

Got Eggs?

We have about 15 dozen eggs we need to find homes for as our hens continue to outlay our consumption.

All eggs are within two months old, hormone-free, been refrigerated within 4 hours of laying, and free to good homes! (If you care to kick in a buck for chicken feed, it's up to you.)

If you have empty egg cartons, they would be helpful as we store them in flats (see pic).

Any takers?

I could use some eggs. I had some containers, but I think I finally got rid of them because none of the chicken farmers in town needed them!
Maybe you could scramble up some Sunday morning.
