It seems we WILL have a few stickers for sale at the Stone Mountain TAC rally. Nicki (rebelstand) graciously made a trip to the post office today so that we could have stickers for sale at our rally. Come see me at site #156, or look for me at the pavilion.

I will not be bringing my trailer to Stone Mountain (Adrienne's Birthday) because we have other things we have to do. I plan on driving down and meeting all you good folks. I can't wait to check out your Airstreams.

If any of you Georgia people need some powder coating done I am posting a place that does great work. Check out their project pics. We always get great service with a very good price.

The weather forecast is fairly decent. Be prepared for cool at night (in the 50's) and in the upper 70's during the day. Thursday and Friday may have some scattered thunder showers but otherwise just partly cloudy for the other days.

As everyone is snapping pictures all weekend, please keep the TAC newsletter in your thoughts. It would be great to have a few choice pictures (including the group shot for sure!) to put into the next TAC newsletter along with a write-up about the events during the rally.

I am mostly packed and ready to go. I will be leaving bright and early Wednesday morning. Not sure if I will make it to Stone Mountain that day. Just winging it, depends on how I feel. I might split it up and stop part way. I know 400 miles is not a long trip to you veterans but this will be my longest trip so far and I am still not real comfortable towing the Airstream. Slow and easy is the best policy for me. I have the new axle and WD hitch installed so it should be a more comfortable trip than when I brought her home from her last owners home in north Florida.

Thanks Lynnetta, I grabbed site 163-A and will see you there, now to talk Debbie into a last minute trip :-) if she is a no show maybe I will pull the 59 Caravanner and sleep in the gutted trailer, the exterior is close to being finished and is towable but stripped of everything else, if she will come with me I will tow the 05 and be comfortable .... I hope she will come too
