Guess I am considered close

I am only looking at about 220 miles. That is almost in my back yard. Still going to hurt a bit at $3.95 a gal and clocking about 11mpg. Lets hope for a good tail wind and all down hill.

I guess coming from the mountains of North Carolina it is "mostly" down hill. I may just have to stay once I am there.

Ouch, the fuel thing, It is going to cost a bit more for this trip than I planned when I made my reservations. The cost of "fun" is getting higher and higher. I am looking at about $280 plus just in gas for this trip that is also with 11 mpg.

I found that if I turn the radio up I can almost drown out the sucking sound coming from the 45 gal gas tank in the Ex!
I am determined to have some fun... a little....er a lot of gas is not going to stop me!

We are very close, about an hour away. We get about ten mikes to the gallon anther we are towing the trailer or not. Wish we could afford a diesel e350 like pizza chop! Sweet!

I bought this beautiful Airstream to go traveling and to see my country, not have it sit and rust away in my yard. I am with you, nothing is going to stop me.

But I bet you use less of it than we do. Hey! Sell us that pretty diesel or better yet, trade us for a sweet gas 5.4L e350.

Filled up my F250 diesel yesterday at Flying J and it took me back $120.00. Man oh man a long distance journey would really set you back.

The news currently is that prices have peaked and should begin heading down for the summer. At any rate keep on streaming.

I hope that is correct! In the meantime, if anyone wants to sell a diesel e350.....

Aarrgghh... sorry, but a conflict has arisen that is forcing us to cancel for this rally. Bummed but unavoidable. We'll catch you next year!

We were in site 153 in case anyone is looking for a site in the main loop.

They're out there, you just have to look.

No one's giving them away, though.

We purchased ours from California in 2004 and had it shipped to Georgia (back when business was good.)

Good luck finding a 7.3 though.

Ron, what year is yours? Does it have four wheel disc brakes? We have discs on our 05 gas and drums on the 98 gas, I don't like the drums but i don't know when they started doing discs. We want a 7.3l diesel with discs, any idea what years had both?there is a 2000 on eBay but rob is concerned about the brakes.

Our's is 2001 with 4 wheel disc brakes.

We had a 99 gas burner and I can't remember if it had 4-wheel disc or not. (probably didn't)

You can probably inquire online and find out when Ford made the change.

I have had a 2000 f250 7.3. It had 4 wheel disc. My 2000 excursion v10 also has 4 wheel disc. Not sure if the e250 would be the same.
