My post sure show my hurry (incomplete thoughts or statements) and lack of catching typos.

I meant to say the 8:10 chef Mickey is booked full so we choose the crystal palace as an alternative. And charter should read character.

Wanting this trip to be so special for our grandsons has motivated me to try figure out how to see the things a 2 an 5 year old will enjoy and get the most out of time all the while getting enough rest to maintain the correct energy and attitude.

I am bummed you didn't get into the Chef Mickey's but I hear Crystal Palace is a good one if your grandkids like Pooh.

You know that on the official website you can select rides and attractions to look at by age. Here is the link.

More Disney Planning

Oh, it may be a motivator that I didn't book chef Mickey in time. My event schedule is getting so booked I think we may need to come a few days early or stay a few days later to fit everything in, if only work commitments and pending birth of new grandbaby would allow.

Oh poor constructor, the best grandpa ever, is going to want to be at camp more than I have planned, so again, looking at the plan to best fit us all. Hmmm, maybe we need a pretrip in September or October to get a few things out of the way. I just figured out that for a bit LESS money than we paid for 6 day park hopper tickets, we can have Florida resident season limited passes.

To think, I poo pooed this event as it isn't the real Florida I want you all to see. Now I am acting like I am 12 again and I am going to 'Disney'.

Tibit - Central Florida, originally known as Mosquito County, and fortunately for tourism, later renamed to the more pleasant sounding, Orange County.

I don't completely understand all this Disney planning and ticket buying and food plan stuff, but I figured I'd pass along info that Andrea doesn't seem to want to get on here and post.

Apparently the cost of Disney tickets is going up soon. Andrea says she read this on a couple of websites. So, we went ahead and bought our tickets now. Since we are not buying a meal plan, apparently it's easier to shop around for other ticket sources. Andrea bought our tickets today at undercovertourist.com to lock in our prices. You buy three days and get the fourth for free (I think this is also AAA type of pricing & deal).

Andrea would have the final answer on that, but I don't think so. Having never been to Disney before myself and not knowing exactly how our kids will react, we're taking an approach of pre-buying at a minimum and we'll do what we can to add to that if the kids express interest.

I learned the importance of booking exactly 6 months ahead of time. I was a few days late trying to get into Chef Mickeys and it was already full.
