I decided to put together a colorful spreadsheet with fort wilderness/wdw facts for anyone to print out for the trip. bus routes, swimming pools, trading posts, monorail, boats and the such...

if anyone has something they think needs to be added...let me know.

I am also including the spreadsheet I plan to use for mapping out my dining credit.

Woohoo, got our reservation and asked for loops 1300, 1400 or 1600. Love to be able to walk to the hot tub!

We purchased the 2009 "Unofficial Guide to DW" when we visited that year. This book has so much information that I had to use post-it notes to mark the info I wanted to reference while in the parks. It is a great, comprehensive book for DW.

No, Nicki, I haven't seen Dan-talked to him but haven't laid eyes on him. Hank had breakfast with him the day after he and Carol got home. Dan was trying to convince Carol to see a doctor.

I you go back to one of my earlier posts in March, 2011 (I thiink) I listed the pros of the campground loops. I can do further checkiing as to noise, location of buses etc. if anyone wants.

The TAC Disney Rally will be here soon.

Kathy

I may have to go on the look out for that book although I bet it doesn't change much from year to year.

Do you know what post that was... maybe we could quote it so it shows up now.

I created the spreadsheet for anyone who hasn't been to the Fort and is interested or in need of basic info. So far the spreadsheet/info has basic information on:
directions to the fort from I-4
the internal bus system (which bus color goes where)
monorail boat launch
loop type/numbers/pet
swimming pools
trading posts
spreadsheet for dining planning (I am a bit obsessive when it comes to planning)

If anyone else can think of anything that needs adding... let me know.

You have been busy.

The info on the loops are in #14 in this thread. If you need more /better info, let me know and I will dig it up.

Meeting Dan and Carol tonight for trivia. Wish me luck.

Can I send you the spreadsheet to look at? Then you can suggest things to add. I have only made a very basic start.

I sent you a PM thank you. A surprise-so fun.

Yes, send the spread sheet. I want to go through my resources and try to seperate each park then work up a list of "haven't seen" "must see" "must see again". Also want to work on dining reservations. It is our 40th anniversary next year and I wanted to do something special for Hank. Think I will contact Disney and see what they can suggest. We honeymooned at Disney in 1972 at the Contemporary Resort (still owned by US Steel). Checked out the restaurant on the top floor and decided it was too expensive then. Still too expensive now, but the 40th may be worth dining there. He also has always wanted to dine (fine dining) at the Grand Floridian. The man has expensive tastes.

Well we didn't do too well at trivia last night. I think the $1.00 beers got in the way. Can't seem to recognize the songs from TV shows and have difficulty with identifying music and performer from 2000 on. But the wings are good and just watching/talking to the other teams is fun.

Waiting on the "insurance" guy. Had a lightening strike while we were on vacation in Sept. Took out our stove control, refrigerator control, and the computer. We are going to have him look at the roof as well. Oh bother!

I am pretty good with recognizing music.

Lightening sure explains the computer issues! Hope you get things straightened out soon.

Spreadsheet is sent. Let me know what I can add.

Awwwwwwww!
The 40th is very worth it. Maybe the dining plan would help.

If you are looking at Victoria's & Albert's, I couldn't tell if the dining plan was accepted but I did find these

Citricos | Grand Floridian Resort & Spa Dining & Restaurants | Walt Disney World Resort

Narcoossee's | Grand Floridian Resort & Spa Dining & Restaurants | Walt Disney World Resort

I couldn't figure out which restaurant at the contemporary... so no links.
