I like the sissy bar and passenger seat on that model J, cool! I noticed the anti-collision devices on the rear window of the small A/S pic from the meet, somebody must have got an eye opener at some point.

A few more photos...
We had a GREAT time! The company was excellent, the campgrounds were nice and the weather turned out with temps in the 70s... other than the rain, you couldn't ask for a nicer Labor Day weekend!
John, Rick and I made the rounds of the swapmeet twice, John and Rick three-and-a-half times. There was something for everyone there, even if you had no interest in motorcycles at all!
There were a variety of fun and funny things to see; just about anything you could imagine was at this swapmeet!
For those of you who are NOT Harley fans... and there ARE some of us out there...  I include a number of photos...

And last, but not least...
A man built this scale-model BMW, fully operational motorcycle complete with sidecar for his four-year old son in 1956 based on his full-sized Beemer. Both the model and the full-size original are shown in this photo, still owned by the family.

Cool pics everyone! Sounds like we missed a great time out there, maybe next year. John, they did a segment on the Harley WLA and other motorcycles on the program "Mail Call" the other night. They said the US Military is working on a cycle that runs on diesel fuel. I don't think it is an actual diesel engine though. I think most gasoline engines will run on diesel once they come up to operating temperature.
