Happy Hour Saturday. Got it. I don't think the crawfish are in coastal waters, but don't really know. Oysters, or what's left of them should be OK. Shirmp are screwed...

We're down to 28 days before the good times (and Airstreams) roll!

We're working on our happy hour concoction. We've had three tests to date and still trying to work on flavor perfection.

I am getting very excite for our event. Don is probably very nervous I think, because he is still trailerless at this point. Lets put good thoughts his way and hope Colin pulls it off.

I am also very excited to hear these guys again. They played two years ago and put on a smoking hot show. Dave M thought he got a secret recording but their agent took it away. They did not have a deal worked out with Digital Sound Board. Dave usually records every artist and makes them available for purchase right after the performance. Hopefully they will be on board this year. None the less, DO NOT MISS RAILROAD EARTH!!!!

Oddly, RRE is not on board with us at Crawfish but will be at All Good in July (WV). Talk about over-thinking things?????

Regarding Don and Amanda's rig - I have an extra should they need it. I was not planning on using my '64 Trade Wind this year. That rig will be available for them should they need it.

To all: It probably isn't very hard to believe that other Crawfish attendees have offered us a trailer of theirs as well.
This is just one more example of why camping with all of you folks is such an honor and a pleasure for us.
We are truly humbled by everyone's kindness.

Rest assured, I will either have VT at Crawfish, or there will be one less "panel pro" in this world.

so many people record stuff on their cell phones today.... Let me be honest with you, the quality SUCKS!!!! I just don't get why so many are doing it.... we do get to see a little taste of bands we never heard of though this way. Folks, The Honey Island Swamp Band look like a good act to check out.

I scored a 12'X12' EZ Up at Ocean State Job Lot today for $88.00 which we plan to bring to the Crawfish Festival. We'll also be bringing our adult beverage dispenser...

just came across this thread today and unfortunatley have too many things booked to come (actually i'd cancel them all but the wife won't let)..... this sounds like the most amazing event i've seen on airforums. is there a way we can find out about any similar events in the future so we can come? is there an email notice you send out? let us know. Sounds like a really great time. sorry we cannot make it.

The festival takes place every year. I think this year will be the 21st one. I am not sure if you can email the people putting the festival on to be put on their email list or not. I can tell you that I will be going next year for sure. As soon as next years dates are announced they will be posted here along with a new link to the thread for Crawfish Festival 2011....
