has always been my favorite night at the Jager Pavillion Stage.

This year we will have Papa Grows Funk playing for us.

In this video John "Papa" Gros plays a very soulful, very funky Bridge Over Troubled Water with Rich Vogel of Galactic and Robert Walter at the Maple Leaf. Galactic will be playing on the Main Stage Sunday night at 5 p.m. (You will be totally bummed out if you don't stay with us Sunday night and see these guys.)

Just got an update from Michael Arnone, our ultimate host for Crawfish...

Hi Y’all
We are counting down the days to Crawfish Fest.
Something new this year, we will be announcing the schedule soon of the online chats with some of our CFF Artists.
I am headed to New Orleans tomorrow. Jazz Fest begins this week and I like to be there on opening day. My first stop is to see John Ed and get some Crawfish Bread.

Camp New Orleans and Madisonville is now sold out. We still have camping tickets avail in Camp Baton Rouge.

I just sent an email to Carolyn asking for a refund and/or if that was even possible.

My sweet wife is just not well enough to attend nor well enough to be left alone for 4 days. I just got back from a 2 day trip to Charleston and she did not fair well. Have bunches of fun! I know I can count on Frank and Don to give everyone and extra hug from me.

I look forward to seeing most of you at the Birthday Bash. I've already told her that I really do not wish to miss that one and I will work my ass off to be there with my little caravan.

Sometimes you just have to. Hard fact of life. All the sign point to this being the truth. Also, NO ONE (sorry Don) can make a Bloody Mary that tastes like the ones you make. The team needs you, and they need her too.

So here's what I bought:

one: Advance 3 Day Camping/Admission Ticket
one: Adult Advance Admission Ticket Saturday & Sunday Combo

My thinking was the camping ticket would cover me and the camper and the admission ticket would cover wife. Not sure that was correct now, but that doesn't matter anymore I guess. I paid $160 total since I ordered early. Like I said make an offer.

Alright, trying to get into planning gear and I have a few questions about happy hour.

On the day that we are responsible: Is it just killer appetizers? Or are we to provide adult beverages as well? I always have extra but want to know if I need Extra Extra.

The other question is the Galactic team Happy Hour, Sunday, near the trailers or a ways away? just so I can plan on traveling with the food or not.

happy hour is BYOB. Extra is always appreciated. Friday is at the trailers till 6. Saturday and Sunday will be at Dave's trailer down at the main stage. Don said we can throw it all in a car and drive down to the main stage. You can also carry it down if you want.
