Sonia, We would love to have you join us. Just keep in mind that this is more of a music festival that trailers are gathering at than a "rally". I know that Skip's "boy" and Don's "boy" (sorry that is what they both refer to them as) will be there. Not too sure about any other kids. We are leaving ours at home so we can be a little less responsible than we normally have to be
So to attend you go to this site and purchase camping and festival tickets. I am not sure if they combined them, in the past they were separate. When asked where you want to camp put "Camp Madisonville" in both first and second choice.
Plan on getting there around 12 on that friday so we can all park together and start happy hour promptly. Most are staying till monday morning... the sunday line up is awesome. Make sure you folks check out the line up.

Sonia: The Boy's had fun last year. They are very self sufficient though. They are both very good boys who stay close and play well together with some light supervision. They were the only Airstream children there but many of the other Crawfish attendees had children. If your child(ren) are same then bring them.

Sonia,
The kid on the left is known as Boy.
The kid on the right is known as The Boy.
(Something is obviously wrong with both of their fathers. )
The critter in the cup is a crawfish they saved from Wild Bill's pot.
I think they named him Paul.
As Frank mentioned, this is a music fest and hundreds of families will be attending daily.
Saturday and Sunday they have a nicely shaded Kid's Stage area with face painting and a couple of kid focused live bands if you have little ones.
There really is something there for kids of all ages.
We'll be carving out an aluminum oasis in Camp Madisonville as our base of operations and we'd love to have you join us.
Don

Round 'em up!
I forgot to mention that families actually get the best deal.
Kids under 14 are admitted FREE!

oh boy. i just saw this on the portal page. its only an hour and a half away - the other side of NJ - and seeing how few rallies are in our area, I don't see how we can keep being ASer's without coming to this. BTW, this will be our first rally !! (*newbie being shy*)

I am really gentle on all my first timers. Mistral Blue on the other hand is a little rougher on his first timers.... Glad you will be joining us. Please try and make it around 12 on Friday so we can all get set up together and have a swinging happy hour underway in a timely fashion.

Mistral Blue and I were talking and we are going to try out a new rally technique. What will happen is when you arrive to park Mistral Blue or I will first greet you, and point you in the right direction. We will then hand you a card with YOUR DAY on it. This will be YOUR DAY to contribute something to happy hour. You only need to share one day so make it a good one. Everyone knows what half drunk adults like to eat so blow us away. I am challenging you now, blow peoples minds with something to munch on.
Friday will be at the trailers. Happy hour will begin when you arrive until they start serving jambalaya and crawfish at the stage.
Saturday and Sunday will be down by the Digital Sound Board trailer at the main stage. If you draw those days be ready to carry your item down and put it out picnic style.
Remember, I am challenging you to put something out that is great, for you only have to do it one day.

Non-attendance will make your trailer very, very sad and may also result in your secret aluminum decoder ring to malfunction unexpectedly!
Are you really willing to take that risk?

I'll have a batch of jambalaya on one of the outdoor stoves while your setting up on Friday too.
Last year we were able to drive down to the Digital Sound Board trailer and drop stuff off so it'll be pretty easy to party up close and personal with Taj.

Gosh this will be a fun time again. I am very excited as I just put in my vacation request. Staying 'till Monday baby!!
hmmm a day for Happy Hour. A most excellent idea!! Please, if you can, let me know how many people could be expected at each happy hour and how many will be contributing per day. This will help me plan my mind blowing snacks.
thanks!

Waaaaaaaaaa!
We might not be able to go to Crawfish. Does anyone know someone who would buy my tickets? If we go we will have to be late so would rather someone else enjoy the whole weekend. Started a new job and time is slim to none this year.
Please email me at lindamoorenh@yahoo.com
Thanks,
Linda

Good number. Enough to put up the stuff and take it down and mostly all be under the thing at the same time more or less exceptin for those off at the music or doing dancin.
I forget what the rules were for wood fires. Anyone else remember?

Off the ground is good...
but here's the fine print in the FAQ section:
Will we be able to cook?
Yes, but not on an open campfire. For safety reasons, no pit or wood fires are permitted, small charcoal and gas grills are allowed if they are 12 inches above the ground. You must have an ABC fire extinguisher readily available near your fire.... Any oil should be put in container. Let us know if you need us to dispose of it or take it home.
Those off-the-ground, enclosed fireplaces are fine.
