Met Carl and Elaine this past weekend and they convinced us that it is a must do for next year.... I don't think I'll be growing my pinky nail to a ridiculous length so that I can scoop out the head as I had seen an elderly woman do down on Lake Pontchartrain a few years back.

For all Crawfish Fest First Timers...When you get your tickets MAKE SURE you request Camp Madisonville. That's the area with water and electric. And remember...Advance tickets go on sale 10/15/2009...Get 'em while they're hot

Ordered tickets this morning, but there were problems with the website; selecting Camp Madisonville and getting the right totals. Michael emailed back that they would be working on it this morning.(5am EST).

Man o man, Pam beat me to it.... The current advanced tickets are Camp Baton Rogue. I have an email in to Michael about this. Hoping to swing us some kind of special group deal....

Michael says it is all fixed and it is!!!! Just bought mine. Make sure to put camp madisonville as your first and second choices.

Yep, website is fixed. I purchased our tickets a few minutes ago and was able to select Camp Madisonville.

Tickets are paid for...now all we have to do is wait for winter to pass and spring to roll around.

Dave Morrison was the original host. You need to thank him for he is the man. Don and I were merely the far from innocent bystanders that first year. But what really made the rally so special last year was how everyone just pitched in and everyone benefited. Everyone can count on a killer breakfast every morning. I will warn you, I have been practicing.

We too have our reservations in. It is gonna make winter that much longer. Heard the stories from FFrank and we can't wait.it will be the first time without the dogs. Jill will be going through withdrawals.

I think I should point out to all those interested that there is an advanced sale going on for crawfish tickets. Here is the place to buy them. You get camping and music for all three days at $100/ person. The cost will be $125 for just the music alone in a few weeks, so jump all over this folks.

I have been speaking one on one with Michael Arnone, and he has said he would love to join us for breakfast one morning. He said he enjoys seeing all the airstreams at his event and every time he passes by we seem to be doing exactly what he wants us to; having a grand old time.
