Paul,
On the Rally Calendar we are 15 units, but I don't think Skip is going to make it so if my math is correct and the rally calendat is correct there will be 14.

Shuck It

Oh shucks I think we'll take 2 dozen. I'll need a knife as I usually sit at the bar and watch them shuck 'em for me. Is someone giving lessons????

"Hollywood," as everybody in New Orleans knows him, is the master of the oyster bar at the Acme restaurant in the French Quarter. He is passionate about Gulf Coast oysters and even more so about the proper way to open one. "I've been lobbying the state to certify peoples that open oysters. It is an art, just like being a sushi chef," he bellows. After he showed his technique and schooled me on the New Orleans way to eat a raw oyster (a drop of hot sauce, then slurp it out without your mouth touching the shell. (quoted from Recipe.com)

slurp, slurp

And to think, it all started with you convincing Silvie to eat one with Jane.... Now look at you, a raw-bar junkie convincing everyone else.

Oh the shame

Don't forget the Shanghai Chili Sauce...mmmmm

Well, I asked Michael Arnonne real nicely if there was any chance of us squeezing another Airstream in and he said "sure". I did have to use a little grease to make this happen. So, if for some reason I am not around when he comes by for a visit make sure his hand is full of a cold adult beverage and the other has something to munch on in it. You cannot miss Michael, he is a very large man with a big smile, usually cruising at a high rate of speed. Please pretend you are me and treat him like a total rockstar. He is very glad we have such a large group this year and thinks we step the class up a number of notches. Thank you, Frank

good morning, all,

Gabrielle and I, and possibly Sara, too, are "the squeezed in", and happy to be so!

if you're enroute westbound from NY / New England, especially if you're coming across the Tappan Zee or George Washington Bridges, let us know, and perhaps we can caravan the last 60 miles to the festival?

and though the driveway isn't big enough for "courtesy parking" per se, I'm sure we can accomodate any overniters at curbside (it's a quiet neighborhood!)

if you want to check your map, we're approximately here - 40.979671,-73.953824

best,
