I think now would be a good time to mention the safety blurb......"Please wear all safety equipment (glove) and do not attempt to shuck while imbibing. Management is not responsible for spilt juice. Failure to follow these precautions can result in ."

Sign me up for the 'Shucking 101 class' as I've never shucked before. I am sure some of you long time shuckers will be able to put me on the right path.

Shucking 101

OK, here's your pre-course viewing assignment -

(I'll have my "Jump Bag" in the truck in case anyone slips with their shucking knife! Please don't!)

Excellent video Joseph!

Shucking 101 will be offered throughout the weekend but there really isn't much more to it than what was just presented.

N.B.: A few oysters will be opened Thursday night for QC purposes so there may be a few demonstrations of some of the ways to prepare, serve and consume oysters.

It wouldn't be a terrible idea to bring along an extra set of chairs.

We'll have an EZ-up set up somewhere near the main stage throughout the weekend.

I think it will take you longer than between now and Friday to accomplish that, but I love your ambition

He could probably get you a nice rate on a minimum 5,000 oysters.
How big is your fridge?
