Lightbulb Colorado Forums get together BBQ!

Okay, so I know this is horribly last minute...but I've decided to have an impromptu Forums BBQ at our house tomorrow! There are lots of Colorado AirForums members that have never met - we live much too close to just be pen pals...so, let's get together!

What: Backyard BBQ
When: Sept. 29th 2007 - 5:00 to ????
Where: My house - Drop me a PM and I'll tell you where
Why: Because I'm not ready to give up on summer and I want to!

Don't worry...we won't put you to work on Birdy!

Shari

Im half tempted to get in the truck and go, 600 miles each way though. I guess that would be excessive for a BBQ

I'll be there with wine in hand. Do you like German Potato Salad?

I'm all for that!
I figured out that if I tape enough tinfoil (shiney side out) on the Avion, it would pass for an Airstream from a distance.
Maybe cut some cat-eye windows in the front of the foil and give it a Clipper look.......

We'd love to come up and meet people on this furom, but our 5 year old brought a headcold home from school. A real cranial slime fest.
So bringing slug-boy along & getting everyone else sick wouldnt be a good first impression.

Cheers,
Dave

Yeah, but I can plan a BBQ with only 30 hours notice...not a whole rally!

Better something rather than nothing....right?

True enough, on the other hand June is months and months away...........

I hope the BBQ is fun, wish I could have convinced myself it was a reasonable weekend trip.

So plan one!

My plate is kinda full on the rally planning front...June/July is the Int'l Rally and July/Aug is typically the RMVAC Rally. I am heavy involved in the VAC planning for both of those...so if you are waiting on me to do it for 2008 - it ain't happening!

Doesn't mean I wouldn't attend (schedule permitting)...but I can't organize it.

Shari
