Is anyone planning on attending BM12 (29 Aug - 3 Sep 12)?

We are hoping to go (last chance if the Mayans get their way)

First round tickets register 28 Nov-11Dec 11

Then second chance starts 9 - 22 Jan 12

Probably most of these folks will be there, with the Airtreameri theme camp. Not too early to start planning, who wants to do another scientific talk: http://www.airforums.com/forums/f288...1-a-72089.html

I sure am hoping to be there. Would be my first time but since I'm out here, I really want to make it. I've already alerted my employers that I'll be asking for some time off! I may even have to extend an invite to them.

50KIP plans to "fly in" to the Burn, if I can score some tickets.

The Black Rock City International is the third largest airport in Nevada that week. They've had jets land some years. I've mostly given up volunteering at the airport, just got too spread out with other stuff. One year I worked there I put out the pie plate for 108, that meant 108 airplanes had landed and tied down at sometime during the week. Lot of fun watching the pristeen uniformed corp pilots getting the virgin playa dust down treatment.

Talking Flying in to Burn

NevadaGeo,
I hope you didn't get the impression that I am literally flying to the Burn...it was just a figure of speech, since "50KIP" does not have wings and only "flies" the Interstate. All things are aeronautical, aluminum and rivets even though it is a 2009 19' International CCD. The original 50 Kip (avatar picture) met its end about 35 years ago in Yemen.

Cindy and I are hooked. We'll be there this year. I'm getting a mutant vehicle together, too.
