Mark,

Were you there in '04? If so, did you bring the AS? I heard about Burnstream Circle but never saw any pics of Airstreams together on the playa. Wondering how many there were. I can't make it this year but I so WANT to get there someday with my AS.

Mark, I've been interested in attending the Burning Man event for the last couple of years after seeing a program about it on TV. What exactly is the Playa? Is it sort of like the main street at the county fair? After getting tickets, can I park my trailer at the event,,within walking distance, or do I have to park miles away and drive in or take a bus to attend. If I can stay onsite in my trailer, is that free with the tickets or are we talking about an additional expense?

Go the the Burning Man website cited before for more information and camp maps. The parking and the camps appear to be a set of concentric semicircles. You park your A/S in the camp city and this included in your ticket fee. No hookups available. There is mention of some water and pump out services by truck.

For more information on an A/S affinity group at Burning Man 2005 sign up on the mail list at
http://www.batmo.com/burnstream/

Mark,

Have you subscribed to BManUpdates? It's really fun to track the progress of BMan. Andie Grace is a great writer.

Subscribe: bman-announce-subscribe@burningman.com

Have a few friends that go every year. I am jealous. Want to join Burnstream Court someday soon.

Cool Wow - Thanks for the Heads Up!!

Seems like tickets went on sale earlier this year(?); hadn't been watching the jack rabbit! Last year's theme was Vault of Heaven. This year:

"Psyche: the Conscious, the Subconscious and the Unconscious." Our theme explores psychology: self-expression, self-reflection and the unconscious power of dreams.

Hmmm. Might have to ponder on this one for a moment.... but I'll be there!!
