thanks

Larry and I had a great time at the party. We would like to thank Dan and Dawn for letting us "drive" them to the party and participate in this big event. The folks organizing did a wonderful job! A big thank you to them for allowing us to "crash" the party. While we hope that Dan gets his trailer electrical and brake problems fixed it made for a nice weekend for us. What a wonderful group of friends we have!

To all that made the BASH the greatest Airstream Rally that we have ever attended I want to THANK YOU for making it #1 and we will always cherish the time together with all that attended and especially the Streamers that worked so hard to make it THE VERY BEST.

Just got home. The five and a half hour drive became eight and a half due to road construction in PA. Why do they close miles of lanes when no work is going on?

I must say I am humbled and extremely grateful for all the appreciation expressed to me directly. It was an absolute honor to have been a part of making this happen. It was an absolute honor to make sure you ALL had a great time. The only complaint I heard was that there were too many clouds in the sky to be able to see all the way to Peru. The people of Paraguay did phone to say they enjoyed the fireworks though.

I am also grateful that someone told us we could not make this happen. Sorry we had to prove you wrong once again.

As to next year... For sure, it will be happening. The venue will be different though so more of you can come.

As soon as I catch up on some sleep, I will post some of my photos.

After hearing the reviews from this BASH, where do I sign up for next year? I want to make sure I get on the list.

Thank you Rob, Frank, Steve and Ace!! It truly was a Bash and you guys just raised the bar for all future rallies.

We pulled into Herkimer (KOA) this afternoon and finally got some wifi. The drive up here on route 8 and 51 are some of the most beutiful in the country, thanks for the directions Rob.

I hope that all that all attended the BASH get home safely so we can Bash again soon!

OMG what can I say. Great rally. The friends we made, the food we ate, the scenic camping area, the entertainment, and the all round hospitality. Thank you Rob and Zoe, Frank, John, Steve, Deb, and many other volunteers who helped make the rally a huge sucess.
We will see you all again next year.

One of the great things about the Bash, aside from meeting a lot of great people, was seeing what others have done with their rigs. My top 3 picks from the Bash (in no particular order) are Gail's '67 Overlander (lively colors, great floor plan for parties, and ya gotta love the pink & black checkerboard), Linda's '61 Tradewind "Lu Lu"(best bedroom and bathroom layout in a reasonably sized trailer), and Doug's '56 Caravanner 'The Broomstick' (best kitchen sink/counter EVER). I think the trailer with the most potential is Virginia's '75 22' Argosy - it's still pretty much stock and is a great blank slate on which to build a custom interior.

A big "Thank You" to all of the Bashers that opened their trailers for a look-see. I know that we got a lot of ideas for our next rig.
