Rumor here is we will be leaving at 8am or so meeting up with pinktrailer and Ruby. Not sure if part two is rumor or wishful thinking but also have seen "private e-mail" indicating a possible catch up with Over59, MuddyHollow, enduroryder and mistralblue? WOO_HOO! Caravan
Robin
PS SO sorry you and Tex can't make it Kath.

To all -
It is with great displeasure that I have to pull out of attending the bash.
Following a very stressful evening of chasing down problems, I have been unable to track down a short/broken wire in my truck/trailer/brake controller. Short story is I have no trailer brakes and my running lights are not operating correctly.
My travel time would be in excess of 15 hours, and safety has to come first.
Please have a beer (or several) for me & Dawn. And light a fire cracker or two!
Have a great time!

Have you inspected the brake magnets? Shorts can occur inside the drum if the magnets wear through to the copper spool.

Brakes appear to be working when power is directly jumped to the magnets.(They hum, just like they used to)
I believe I may be getting a backfeed thru the univolt or a line coming off it. I probably could just disconnect the univolt, but I'd rather to be stuck in my driveway without power than on I 90 in NY.
Worse yet, I'd hate to have to make an E-stop and not be able to.
Thank you for the suggestion though, I do intend on pulling the magnets to inspect.

Great to hear that the wagon wheel is filling up fast and it's only 11:30am Thurs. Here at the Nation's Capital Rally in DC with the New England Unit and very hot !!. Might take off tomorrow Friday for the B/Bash. See you all soon.

Pictures, we want pictures. I fully expect to be updated on this very thread on all of the goings on including the shenanigans, happy hours, fireworks and anything else I can't think of at the moment.

Shenanigans, happy hours, etc.,etc.,
Greetings Brad,
There are NO shenanigans taking place as far as I know. And happy hours, etc.,etc. are taking place, but nothing to report....of course all photos are being inspected for any misrepresentation.... As soon as some of my photos are released back to me...I WILL POST!
Other than that, more trailers are arriving, and we are having a good time.
See you down the road.
Best Regards,
Levon

Bash Breakfast and other observations
Cool this morning at the big tent where breakfast was prepared. Fog lifted and breeze, clouds, and sun took over. After breakfast, people walked, cycled, visited with others and just had a grand time. Later in the day a dent removal demo was given by Mr. Doug...Kids are fishing and just having a ball.
